Not 100% sure as it could be coincidence, but Willie does have a son called Anthony. Tony Carson makes no mention of a connection on his website, but that may be deliberate.

It would make sense as we’ve got a daughter of Catarina who was in training with Tony.

Willie Carson's son Anthony trains at Newmarket. Willie also has a grandson, William Carson who's a jockey and a bit of a wild child.

The Free Library mentions the name "Tony" as Willie's son.

There's also another grandson called Graham who rides.

Yeah I’ve just found an article about one of the horses Willie owned and it states it’s trained by his son.
    Thanks Cyc and Pnkt

You could be asking the wrong question in my case. I usually get it but have decided to go every second year.

Thanks so much for all that, that's really helpful. Other than RoM I can use the GBBR website, but of course that only lists GB issue and fillies. Hence your comments on French foals is really helpful. For some reason the BCup site seems late in registering foals this year. Yes there's an Aurore (US) as well as Aurore(GB).

The Queen's advisers still persist in going for stamina when it's speed her mares need.

Thanks again. I've got more but I'll wait a few days.

I use the France Galop site to check on possible French foals.

if you search the dams name it defaults to her race record but if you click on Elevage it will show any registered produce.

Crikey that's fantastic pN. I was expecting it in a couple of weeks!

Well, they've used some faster sires but surprise. surprise they're Highclere sires. Those 3 I queried are Royal horses I'm not sure if she sold or died.
Hope Cliveden have some luck with their foalings next year.
    Can't thank you enough.

Yes I did raise my eyebrows at the number of Cable Bay and Land Force matings. How convenient that Her Majesty has mares whose most compatible mating turned out to be sires stood by her racing manager!

That said I actually like Cable Bay a lot and think he’s pretty good value.

I’d also take a guess that the major name coverings are freebies/foal shares. Can’t imagine it would go down well if the general public knew HM was splashing €650,000 a time on 3 Galileo matings, not to mention the Dubawi/Frankel/Kingman covers!

But is he potent? In the last two RoMs he had a whole pile of double coverings. It looked as if he was firing too many blanks. Don’t know how many foals he had this year but he had poor 2018 and 2019 figures.

I guess the deal is that if there’s a colt who becomes worth standing then Coolmore, Godolphim etc. have the major share.
Don’t think the State pays her racing costs,

I doubt that the state pays as well.
