Soton fans really take the bitter biscuit. Shame because it's a nice city, if a bit dull <ok>

So is anyone going to acknowledge that PNP showed that you didn't have a clue what you were talking about? There's plenty of you..

"Read Sally Churchward's stories about being Single in the city

Southampton is one of the best places in the country if you are young and single, a new study reveals today.

Among men and women the city came in the top ten of a survey of 1,200 Britons aged between 18 to 30 to find out what factors were most important to them.

It came second among girls and seventh among boys.

More than a third of young men (35%) claimed cost of living was very important, 29% thought proximity to friends and family was crucial, while 26% thought earning potential was vital.

The best place to live for men was Brighton because of its buzzing nightlife, low cost of living and high ratio of women to men.

The seaside city scored highly to pip its regional rivals across nine criteria including entertainment, relationships and finance, according to a study by Coca-Cola Zero.

Liverpool, Bournemouth and Edinburgh helped make up the rest of the top four.

Southampton came seventh, scoring well due to its cheap transport, low cost of living and wide array of bars and clubs - one ahead of London.

Among the girls Southampton came second because of its favourable bar/club ratio and relatively high earning potential.

London was named as the best place to be a girl."

What I am saying is.........

....if he had any brains and eyes for anything other than $$$$ he would've had Bale in instead of Asso Ekottie within minutes of arriving!!!! Not playing him there as a reserve.

Guys

We can see you love Twitchy even though he wouldn't have had a clue Bale was any good unless he hadn't needed to play him. Was lucky there because of an injury forcing his hand. He will never bleed youngsters through to the first team. He loves the oldies :)

I think what should be taken into account is this before any more silly comments are made.

IF Saints were as big as Spurs with our academy then they would have stayed that is true and you are all right there. however we would've had them in the first team not sold on because they weren't good enough. That is what we are saying. ours ARE good enough for the prem.

So IF we were Spurs we would have AOC, Walcott, Bale AND Lallana in the first team and that would make Spurs a definite top 4 team :) Oh and Modric may well have to give way for Lallana :)

He gave Rose his debut picking him ahead of Bentley. Walker is first choice ahead of the dependable Corluka. Sandro was given his chances straight away after signing and ended the season. This season Livermore, Kane, Carroll, Townsend and a host of others are being given the opportunities to prove themselves.

Bale was unfortunate with a series of injuries, awful record of games without winning a PL game, having Benny and Modric combining brilliantly on the left but 'Arry still gave Bale his opportunities.

The media have been banned from reporting what Redknapp's been charged with?
And you know this because...?

banned from reporting on the whole case, because the cases for the others levelled with similar charges arent until afterwards and the judges feel that the jury might be biased if they read about the outcome of redknapps case in the papers and stuff <ok>

So are you coming to London? You can have my flat, I'm off to Brighton.

Jen, cost of living isn't cheap in southampton. It is the 3rd most expensive city in the UK to rent in opposed to the average wage earned. You also don't get a lot for your money, bars aren't great no stand out club. **** transport and a ridiculous amount of congestion. Also it was in a study that girls in southampton are in the 10 worst looking in the uk, albeit, still 4 ahead of the skates. This is all in hard copy so I cannot provide links.

Also your source is coca cola zero, not exactly at the forefront of this sort of thing.

Nonetheless, I still love the place.

What I am saying is.........

....if he had any brains and eyes for anything other than $$$$ he would've had Bale in instead of Asso Ekotto within minutes of arriving!!!! Not playing him there as a reserve.

Assou Ekotto was and is still a better left back than Bale. Ask any Tottenham fan.

They're banned from going into detail, as with any case like this.
They're not banned from mentioning what he's been charged with and the CPS have stated it, as mentioned by the BBC:

You appear to have mixed Mandaric's midfield deal into Redknapp's story, too.

its all linked.
so theyre banned from saying all details about the case apart from the charges, tis what i said.

Is this a football forum? Or are Tottenham fans just unknowledgable .

Maybe I am wrong though. I shall have to ask a neutral like Alan Hansen LMAO

Why would you need to ask a neutral? They're both Spurs players so no bias and Tottenham fans have seen more of them anybody.

Bale is better going forward, a lot better but Ekotto is defensively light years ahead.
