I actually DO have IBS by the way <laugh>

Have I mentioned that before or did you just make that up?

Made it up <laugh> ... my missus suffers from ICS "Irritable Cnut Syndrome" ... apparently I'm the cause <whistle>

In all seriousness ... bit of a bummer eh? ... what to you do to counter it etc?

Fossy thinks he's made a sensible post but gets banged out by Bod.

I realise that this might be a bit of a stretch for you (and not of the kind you are more familiar with <whistle> ) but I think it would really help you if you were to actually read posts before commenting Skyrimmer ...

He said he will manage next season, whether at Arsenal or elsewhere, which suggest that he intends to stay if they'll have him, as why would he choose to leave, if he intends carrying on managing?

There's also a reported 2 year contract offer on the table as well.

I agree ... but one simple question ... would you have liked to have had him at your club and with that trophy haul? ... I suspect at least a quarter of fans of the current Prem clubs plus those of every club below that would say yes .. I could be wrong of course <whistle>
Most definitely.

He also oversaw the period of the ground move, when they did reduce player investment to help cover the cost. However, I can understand why Gooners are now frustrated with him. I said at the start of last season, that they'd win the league if they bring in 2 or 3 top quality players, the money was there, so why didn't he do it? As it turns out they probably would have done (no offence) if he'd have improved the spine of that side.

You have to consider what they spend, and if that is down to Wenger, or the board. He hasn't spent nearly as much as United, Chelsea or City, probaby not even as much as 'pool or spuds either, yet every year makes it to the CL, whereas the others don't. He does seem to have a blind spot with pretty football over pragmatism, needs an Adams and a Viera, should've gone for Khedira a couple of seasons ago.

No problem ...all "ifs" and "maybes " if my uncle had a fanny... he'd probably be HIAG .. and all that

Arsenal need a handful of players with a bit of cynicism; some negativity to balance out all the grace and creativity. Wenger seems to think he can do without the dark side in his teams, and just play through all his opponents, but he can't. Fair play to him for sticking to his principles; but those principles won't win Arsenal another title.

Question, Let's say Arsene Wenger retires at the end of the season, would Arsenal be in a worse position than us when Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

To manage Spurs after Arsenal nick Poch?

Leonardo Jardim,Paolo Sampaoli,Maximilano Allegri,Diego Simione will be the top tier we would be looking from with two of them extremely likely while two are not.

Then we move on to the likes of:

Sarri,Luis Enrique,Schmidt,Eddie Howe...there are optioms plenty and galore,we have to take the plunge now.

When Wenger retires they should certainly erect a bronze sculpture of him outside the Emirates - for all he has done for the club ... his main detractors are those Arsenal fans with deluded ideas of 'entitlement' and some bitter Spurs <ok>

You can't really argue with this tbh:
.
Arsenal's trophies under Wenger
Premier League (3) 1997-98, 2001-02, 2003-04
FA Cup (6) 1997-98, 2001-02, 2002-03, 2004-05, 2013-14, 2014-15
Community Shield (6) 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2014, 2015

If you are going to - put up your club's record of success over the same period for comparison :) ... only Sir Alex Ferguson has a more succesful record in the modern era ... and that is all.
You think we should be supportive of a rival manager? Do you big up the Derby manager or the Coventry manager very often?
