The problem is we have been so soft over everything in the past 30 odd years .... not getting political as I voted Blair twice ... but that is when it all started... maybe a tad before
1981 high unemployment companies going under or making high redundancies and Maggie bringing some order to the chaos replaced at the very staart of the oil boom years by Blair
[ hard toughy iron lady followed by a softee with loads of dosh .. oil revenue ... ]
For those old enough to remember from late mid 80's it started to get a little easier Maggie had done her thing and Major took over the country was "prospering" but still discord with Unions etc Come the election of 1997 it was all stale and Blair promised a gung ho manifest ... Oil production was winding up started hitting our shores from around 1995/6 ...
we had low sulphur oil in most of our initial allotment and a £'s premium to boot against ordinary crude.
in 13 years we had become a very rich country, Labour had inherited no real debt spent the oil revenue... sold the gold ... and left a massive £trn BLACK HOLE ... IN THIS TIME the soft life of plenty implanted a undertone of "wanting things for nothing" .... a laziness, in bred into the generations that follow from 1995 onwards.
Now with the freebie £' s ...littered covid dished out to the younger dont work here is your wages anyway the UK is becoming a nation of spongers with no balls....... PC/ LUVVIES/ WOKIES /LAZY BARS TU ARDS / ETC' s we are pushed about by all and sundry with no backbone in the majority to push back.
In the past year 3 MAJOR mistakes ...in HINDSIGHT [ just like the captain!..lol ] 1) GETTING rid of Boris .. 2) liz Truss as a consequence of 1) AND 3) Rishi SUNAK as a consequence of 1) and 2) ........
we need to however go with the flow and just hope that more people [MP's] decide to look out for the country and not whether they will be in a job after the next GE ON £90K a year ..
But at the next GE INSTALL a PM who has the bottle and balls to put his foot down and say enough is enough lets PUT THE GREAT BACK INTO BRITAIN

MISSED pmq's today watch later on I player ... problem travelling back and not getting into routine ....... got 2 to watch ... 2 weeks away 237 emails / 56 whats app / faceache not worried about and dont do Twatter 4 games to process before Sat... organising expeds for 2023 sorting out my van ... not checked the garden but see the 5 kgs of toms are still green ... chutney I GUESS .. made 5 kgs of quince with a touch of apple jelly whilst away... might do some blackberry and apple jelly ... no pips then! keep an eye out for reduced Rasperries in Tesco and do a apple with hint of Raspberry jelly [ for uninitiated for jelly read jam! ]

Staff at the UK battery firm Britishvolt have agreed to take a "significant" pay cut as the company battles to stay afloat.
The future of the start-up was thrown into doubt over fears it could run out of money after the government rejected a £30m advance in funding on Monday.
To make the money go further around 300 staff will take a pay cut for November.
Executives at the firm will not take any pay at all for the month.

Britishvolt, which has been championed by the government, wants to build a factory in Blyth in Northumberland, which would build batteries for electric vehicles but has struggled to find investors.
The £3.8bn plant had been expected to create 3,000 jobs but has already been delayed several times, which has led to doubts over whether it will become a reality.
The government had committed £100m in total to Britishvolt for the project but when the firm on Monday wanted to draw down a third of the cash early, ministers refused.

we spend in 16 months the cost of building this factory on "solely hotel accomodation for illegal invaders from other countries "
The £30m is just 4 days worth of hotel bills .. =========== a factory for the future in a fast moving industry creating jobs for 3000 in a area promised " investment " and yeilded a dozen .GOV MP's is a cast away to support spongers ... our grand childrens Grandchildren will be living in a hell on earth called that pokey group of islands off the coast of Europe

my Take on RISHI .... BEFORE CHOSEN as PM he was - 10 in my book , worst possible choice. Listened to 2 PMQ's [ twice ] and of the opinion Sir KS is at a loss has no real Q's and trying to replace BJ 's way of subtle joviality and sarcasm he cant suceed on that tack with an empty arsenal ..... Rishi well after FIRST pmq's elevated to -8 after second about the same - 7.5 to -8.5 ........ IB [SNP ] A ZERO has nothing really to say same old boring Independence or knocking with an attempt at sarcasm

Home Secretary Suella Braverman is visiting the Manston migrant processing centre, as she comes under increasing pressure to get a grip on overcrowding.

The BBC should maybe think outside the box for a while.

Braverman has only been in the job for a couple of weeks, but the rhetoric being used is like she's been there for the last 3 years and has still done nothing of any to try and stamp this out.

No, that was Priti Patel and Boris Johnson that had the opportunities to sort it out since 2019 and just came up with excuse after excuse and throwing money Macrons way.

I find it amazing how the MSM have finally got their act together to even report on this emergency, when it's been reported in a lot of more credible sources for at least the last 16 months when the BBC, Sly News, ITV, Channel 4 weren't in the slightest bit interested, and largely, nor were any of the daily papers.

And the latest is that there are reports of a child and a teenager being sexually assaulted at a hotel being used to house immigrants just outside London in two separate incidents over the last couple of months.

There was also an alleged rape of a teenage boy there in October and a man in his 30's was arrested.

Scores of single young men being around teenagers of both sexes ? What could possibly go wrong ?

It goes from very bad to incredibly bad day by day

you have to remember acts like these are the accepted /done thing without punishment in most of the countries of immigrants invading our shores [ allegedly if the media is to be believed! ]

a very in depth article on the beeb news page about Albanians ... a number of Albanian cities towns have no young males.
Doesnt mention a lack of females but that might be a sensitive issue as they are possibly part of trafficking? or could be males dont find them worthy as a wife? which is why they leave?

I have to say I’ve not heard her comments, but I’m not keen on her views about most things, labour is a broad church, I’m sure most people are aware of that and not be put off by one individual.

On a broader point it will be the Tory’s that lose votes, more so than Labour winning them. People are fed up with austerity, especially as it’s been proven to not work.
