Is it scaremongering or being realistic? Are we being told the facts or are the lefties up to their old tricks? Are we more worried about terminology or our sevices being overwhelmed?
 
I know I live a very long way from your problems with immigrants, but I have to say she does speak a lot of truths. The writing was on the wall many years ago and nobody stood up and fixed the situation in it's infancy and now the problem is virtually unfixable. Many years ago during a trip to France I noticed many travellers from newly born EU countries littering the streets of Montpelier and in a discussion with a restauranteur I was told they would all head for the U.K. when the technical date was reached for them to head that way. As he commented "they are not going there for the weather' but rather for the benefits the country throws at just about anybody and anything. All I read about my birth country these days is in regard to the massive immigration issues and the ever-growing numbers living in poverty. The time has long since passed when there was a simple solution to this scourge and the politicians who were part of it's birth should hand their collective heads in shame. Nobody wants to be called a bigot, or racist, but regrettably those normally abhorrent terms will have to be read out loud in order to solve this continuing problem. Those who falsely believed that leaving the E.U. would make the problem go away must be looking in the mirror and asking what went so horribly wrong?

I couldn't help but notice the latest statistics claim that a high percentage of the illegals of today are from the Balkans, which takes me back to my time in Montpelier.

There’s some truth in this; after all, the opposition’s job is to make the government as uncomfortable as possible and they are seizing on a ‘weak link’.
However, the press play a HUGE part - by reporting on it all the time they keep the focus on it and won’t let it drop out of people’s minds.
Back to the main issue though - Immigration system is broken. Fkd. Just like most things in this damaged country of ours.
If a Brexit-loving Tory government can’t fix it then it can’t be fixed. May as well give up. Brexit was supposed to fix the immigration issue (one of its claims) by ‘taking back control’ of our borders.
Now we have more people than ever before landing on our shores.
It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so damned tragic.

Words matter, to call it an “invasion” wasn’t particularly bright.

What do you expect though from someone who sends government documents to her own email address 7 times, once you could argue was an oversight, but 7 times , wow!!,

if I sent company sensitive emails to my personal email address once I’d be sacked

Forget your politics that’s appalling, she shouldn’t have been allowed back in the first place. It’s nothing to do with a left witch hunt , she just isn’t very good. Intellectually She’s the Diane Abbot of the right <laugh><laugh>

No one is like Diane Abbot or David Lammy for that matter.....very limited agenda's imo.....partly there to wind things up in the race department.. Appalling MP's......

Even they haven’t stooped as low as breaking the ministerial code 7 times , that’s appalling, she should be prosecuted, not let back into the cabinet.

May, Rudd, Javid, Patel , (Shapps don't count) and now possibly Braverman, legally elected government ministers all failed, defeated by illegal immigrants and left wing cronies or opperatives.
 
Why worry about the illegal 40,000 that have come by sea at Dover ?
The real invasion is the net 300,000 that's come in the last 12months.
 
to be R E A L H O N E S T I think our political system and the people that we have elected to be our MP's are absolutely sh...................... PC has gone to the absolute verge of dire egoistical cesspit individuality... we should apportion the blame to all those elected all parties who have become hate mongers ... I and all the people I socialize with say it as it is call a spade a spade .. ignore political correctness ... its like health and safety in the right measures the right place a good thing ... but to many jobsworth's ...something like £7m a week or is a day to keep the immigrants hosed fed etc etc and that is without the health care that seems to be used up in our hospitals and doctor surgeries
the rubber dinghies should have a rope thrown to them and towed back to where they came from in France .. if they can afford £10k to be on a dingy then charge them a landing fee of £20k or maybe a group of scuba divers armed with harpoons would do the trick ............... Bravo SUELLA
