Whatever happened, the FA would not allow another club to register as Hull City.
The precedent has already been set, Wimbledon, FC United of Manchester and Newport County to name but three.

Now you definitely have misunderstood my point, I was criticising those who are for the name change by saying they aren't real fans, the way I worded it probably didn't help, but when you start ranting, you just can't stop.
I'm sick of it all, but I just think by people walking away and letting Allam poison our club it will only do more harm than good. I have considered not going to games, not based on money, but based on my opinion on this situation. At the end of the day no one can tell me what I call my club, and no matter what decision is reached, it will still be Hull City A.F.C to me.
I too will be moving up age brackets, I'm hoping they freeze the prices from this season, but Allam will put the prices up, no doubt.
even with people who are pro name change you can't really say they aren't 'real fans', they believe that the name change will benefit the club (even though they are wrong). What a plonker.
Ah right no worries mate, when you say about ranting I see someone use the words real fan and it sets me offeven with people who are pro name change you can't really say they aren't 'real fans', they believe that the name change will benefit the club (even though they are wrong).
I just feel putting £500+ into something that annoys me rather than excites me anymore I will probably not renew and pick and choose home and away games next season.
Hull City "The Tigers" - Hull Tigers Pretty good connection there
Fair enough, quite a few people are in your position, it's a shame we're losing dedicated fans who have followed us most of their lives because they're getting priced out of the game/being put off by our owners antics.

Could lead to cheaper passes/tickets etc, hope it comes off!
Hopefully that does come to something good.
I guess I took it for granted that City have the student bracket, I started work as an apprentice at 18 (£100 per week) and I wouldn't have been able to afford a full price season pass at todays price it would have been more than a months wages. I'm not on great money now but I could just afford the £500+ if I really wanted to but I am very reluctant to pay that much with everything going on, it's definitely a combination of the two.
Not sure if you are aware but you can pay a deposit and pay the rest over 8 monthly instalments, I'm currently paying £25.50 per month, which isn't so bad. I can imagine it being at least £50 per month when I go up to the adult bracket.

So there will always be a team called Hull City?
Who was it once said,"football should be like air,it should be free" ?
Which has nothing to do with would we still be Hull City if the name was changed.
Last time I put some air in my tyres it cost me 30p.
It does matter to me what my football team is called.
Will Hull Tigers be a suitable name for us outside the Premier League?
I asked Happy Tiger this question twice on this thread but he won't answer me.
Allam wants the name change to improve exposure and marketing potential in the far east market, they are only interested in EPL football, so outside of the EPL his argument doesn't stack up and the name, from a marketing POV becomes irrelevant
Allam doesn't give two ****s about Far Eastern exposure & marketing. The name change proposal is all about his childlike spat with HCC & the subsequent, self perceived, bruised ego he acquired when the FA, correctly, told him to stick his name change up his arse.
30p to improve your vehicles performance and potentially save your life,Coffin.
Hull City is not gone, not yet. I despise the name "Hull Tigers" just as much as you, however it does not matter what it is actually called, as to us real fans, it will always be Hull City, and we will always chant "City till I die", "Everywhere we go, everyone will know, we're Hull City", even if we are called Melton Tigers.
