Avoiding the question.

Why should he drop it if you won't?

And therein lies the problem. Everything you accuse him of you are guilty of yourself. Intransigent, self opinionated, and a gobshite. Interesting, but I think most would rather concentrate on our "on pitch" problems at the moment, which makes me wonder why you raised this now.

The arbitration isn't to decide if he can make us a laughing stock by changing our name to Hull Tigers.

It is to decide if the FA followed their own rules. The odds are they will decide they did.

YAY! Another one of these threads! I've missed them!

No, of course he's not allowed to appeal, only the antis are allowed to do that. Of course he's not right, only the antis are right. Etc etc

Will Hull Tigers be a suitable name if we are not in the Premier League?

Will Hull Tigers be a suitable name if we are not in the Premier League?

The ones desperate to remain the PL and happy to be named Hull Tigers in the mistaken belief this will help in any way won't be there to see Hull Tigers in the Championship or below. The problem a lot of those who were happy to support their team over the years no matter what division will pack it in as well if the name change happened so any relegation will see an exodus of paying customers on an unprecedented scale.

I have had a season pass for every division Hull City have ever been in. I will never have a season pass for any division Hull Tigers are in.

The crowds would fall off a cliff, a small part of me would actually love this tosh to get rubber stamped only so i could laugh at the utter cretin smugly sat in his ivory tower as 3528 mutes turn up to see hull t*gers vs Brentford.

What a tit.

Yes, I've been following Hull City for over 46 years but I'm finished if the name changes...............not my club anymore

The one thing I can't forgive Allam for is splitting the fans. We were always together against the world before this rubbish, all to spite the council who don't care anyway.
If you want to annoy the council Allam, try standing against them in an election but kindly leave our football club (and its name) alone

Well thats me told. So I support the name change but will not be going to watch Hull Tigers if we end up being called that.

I must admit, that is news to me.

But hey ho, never argue with the AKACTWD lot. They're always right, and you can't ever question them.

Fixed it for you. Proper fans support the club regardless and don't walk away when it needs them the most.

Don't worry your head, we won't end up called that, you've nothing to be concerned about.

Well, apart from the obvious.

You miss the point, it won't be "our" club anymore. Hull City will cease to exist, gone, dead, finished.
What the club represents is more important to me than it's name, in my opinion of course. The physical barriers, cost, location etc. are the only influences on my attendance. My support is unconditional. But hey ho, each to their own.

And if the FA say yes? Will you drop it and keep your mouth shut?

The FA cannot say yes, the arbitration is simply to decide if there was a failure in the procedure which resulted in them saying no last time.

In the even that such a failure is noted then the Allams would have to completely restart their name change application, there is no guarantee that the same criteria would not be in place & would be made clear to the Allams before this submission & that all stakeholders must be consulted. On that basis it is highly likely that any new application would also fail

You avoided answering my question so I'll ask again. Will Hull Tigers be a suitable name if we are not in the Premier League? I'm genuinely interested to hear your answer.
