yet we are surprised attacks take place?

tony blair should be charged with war crimes.
he has the deaths of over 500 british soldiers on his hands alongside thousands of innocent people in the middle east

I see what you're saying. My sister, brother in law and niece were on the street where it happened about 15 mins before it happened. The only reason they weren't there is because they decided they didn't want to wait around for a table to be available at hard rock café, so they walked round the corner to a cab rank, as they were getting into the taxi scores of police cars went screaming past them.
On the face of it, it seems like a lucky escape, In reality the amount of people who where there at the time of the accident plus the amount of people who passed by the spot in that 15 minutes will have been well into the thousands. If you live in fear of these brainwashed idiots then they've won.

Region itself is not to blame, it's the twisted slant individuals put on it to serve their own needs/beliefs.

I am not religious, in fact I cannot stand religion, but there are plenty religiously minded people who live peaceful lives, in fact they out number the extremists by over millions to one.

Having served in the forces in the middle east and working alongside Muslim soldiers, I can say with certainty the Muslim religion as a whole us not to blame, and that most Muslim people respect other religions and those who follow them.

"Bombing their homeland" is not the problem, it's the having of "infidels" on Muslim lands which is the cause of their Hatred. This current situation stems from the Muslim council calling in Nato to remove Saddam Hussein from Kuwait in the first gulf war. A certain Saudi billionaire son wanted to raise a Muslim army to take on Saddam but was rejected, his view was that no infidels should be on Muslim lands. Here we are 20 years on, with western boots on the ground , and influencing policy in the area to try to create stability. It is this that us been twisted by Extremists to cause hate.

There will always be a threat from extremists while we have a presence/influence in the middle east. I doubt we will see "peace" in any of our life times

Islam is quite happy to invade and subjugate other countries. In fact it is one of the requirements in the Koran. Which is why Islam spread and subjugated other countries. They were only turned back at the gates of Vienna. Islam ruled Spain for centuries. In the Muslim way a lot still consider those parts of Spain Muslim lands which should be taken back into the caliphate.
Maybe Spaniards should bomb Muslim countries in retaliation for what happened centuries ago as Muslims do harping on a bout the Crusades, which were a Catholic enterprise and nothing to do with Protestantism or C Of E which didn't exist then.
An indisputable fact is more Muslims are killed by other Muslims than anyone else.
 
Tell someone that terrorists were shot dead hours later by specialists and not routinely armed officers when they stepped out of the car and were shot immediately by routinely armed police officers.
