He looked good at the beginning of the season, classy even. Ended up looking like a pub player! Was the player I was most excited about when the new players came in. Gutted!

This. Every word of it. Well said rrrrrs.

Agree with all, the player I was most looking forward to watching. All we have is him and Ale bossing Spurs for a half and a bit at the Lane.

Maybe he wasn't up for it. Maybe neanderthal coaching by all British dinosaurs set him back. We should have a sign over the dressing room door "Warning: this club can turn you to crap"

Didn't he say he was staying a couple of weeks ago?

The real meaning must have got lost in translation. What he mean't was "get me out of here, dont you know I'm a superstar from Real Madrd. Playing with passion and commitment was never mentioned before I signed."

Joking aside I do think that there is a really good player in him somewhere. In the right team and right surroundings.

"The Premier experience has been very good and I would love to play here more."

Been nice if you'd played at all mate!!

I said it before, he has class but not the mentality for the physicality of the English game. He may well excel in the more sedate nature of the continental leagues like the Italian league.

Can't wait to hear that this waster has found another club. Played in first gear for us. Clearly couldn't be arsed.

too good for us. wait and see him blossom away from the dinosaur that is the Premier League. If he's in a team where he is given time and space on the ball then he will go back to being the player who played for Real Madrid a year ago. Shame it didnt work out as he clearly has a lot of talent

Agree with what’s been said here. He started well and, looked neat and tidy, and for a while it looked like we might have a genuine dead ball specialist. But I think he’s a classic confidence player who’s form dips off markedly in an underperforming team.

I still think that he has potential and could do well as a bit part player in a winning side. To be honest though, the main thing I will miss about him is the accompanying contributors on here from his number one fan El Pirata. A big loss to the board IMO.

What a jerk !

It was only a couple of weeks ago that he said ........... If we go down, I'm staying to get us back up, it;s our duty .......... or words to that effect.
Now he says ..........
"Now I do not plan to play in the second tier because I think it is not the place for me. And I mean that in the most humble way, but it's how I feel. In the summer we will see what happens. The Premier League experience has been very good and I would love to play here more."

Nice ........... show him the door.

He is total class IMO and ran our best performance against Spurs as SB73 said ... He became unsettled and as with them all lost his confidence ... against MK dons he was a pub player no doubt. He is however still a great player but Harold teh idiot cant see that at all and so his only activity has been warming up at half time with Taarabt ... ****ing disgraceful thing that has gone without comment on here ... Why aren't the subs involved with our half time talks? ... they certainly don't need the footy practice do they? .... Harold in fact has blown this club apart and he is to blame for the lack of team spirit and lack of confidence in brilliant player like Granero.

WHO replaced Granero and Faurlin? beautiful cultured footballers? ... Jenas and Mbia ... No wonder there was a split in the dressing room.

I won't have it lads sorry ...Granero is a brilliant footballer and like many here ruined by our club and the current management.

I state again you get any other manager in who is fresh and young and what they would do with this squad ... Granero at Swansea for example or even Liverpool would in a short period of time be as impactive as Modric was for Spurs.

Our fan base all needs to go for a swim in a cold mountain river and wake up a bit IMO ... I am certain that all or most of our players will go on and have success again at other clubs .... what does that say about our management?

Redknapp, Jordan and that fool Cockerel will be found out I am certain but we have to wait and see
