nah he had a crap few months, why give up on him? He's still got great potential and could easily be worth double that when he does eventually move on.

Show me a thread on our forum that is about a Hull player without a Hull fans comment...

If your looking for a midfielder to ghost into the box, they don't come much better than King.
If you want a good all round midfielder, keep Koren.

It wouldn't surprise me if we sold King tbh, unless Pearson thinks he can get better out of him next season, we have Drinkwater and Danns who are alot better at the box-to-box stuff. Ben Marshall i see as a winger, because he has a great cross, but he may be played centrally, as he has a wicked long range shot on him.

So someone who no longer works for us said he thought your bid was **** six months ago.

Exactly my point, our owners haven't mentioned Leicester since just after Nigel left. All these claims of leaking stuff to the media and moaning about Leicester's bids exists only in the heads of thick Leicester fans, they haven't said a single thing about Leicester since last year.

I think the wont sell to Leicester thing was just reassurance to the fans that they wouldn't let nige come and raid us of all our decent players, not a statement of intent that we will never ever sell a single player to Leicester whilst the Allams are in charge. The whole left toe thing was just a dig at nige, as 2/3 weeks before he valued Stewart at around 2/3 times more than the offer he lodged, which was a bit of a joke. No big deal really.

He said he'd treat that particular bid with the disdain it deserved and he was absolutely right. It was £1m.

NP said weeks before, also live on the radio, that some of the better players in the Hull City squad were worth 'a lot more than' the £5m suggested by the interviewer. Weeks later he offers £1m after being told we won't be selling them anyone. Who's being petty?

Very astute Bob .. in our promtion season from L1 and the run to the play-offs in the Championship the following year he was by far and away the best finisher at the club .. and from midfield ..

You realise Bob was talking about Cameron Stewart here, no?

Scratch that, he was talking about King I just didn't read back to check. Sorry idiot of the day post. Bob's post could easily apply to Stewart as well though.

Twitter nonsense. imo, it wont happen. end of.

Only if NP takes Paul McShane in the swap. Hence why it wont happen.

Does he ? I used to be a fan of Andy King as you know But after last season me thinks King is past his best. Best left alone that one now sadly.

Glad we didn't even in hindsight. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Stewart simply hit the wall and the fickle few just give up on him. After Stewart gets in a proper pre-season with his batteries well charged he will be back to his best. Then £1.5m will seam like 1.5p. imo;)

Maybe it means he wont. <whistle> ;)

He is very simaliar to Lloyd Dyer. Very direct and attacks with pace. Stewart has a bit more skill but like Dyer he oftens lacks a decent final ball
