I made my feelings on Johnson clear on the other thread, but as I always do I will support him and give him a fair chance. That is the least we should all do.
But Im not overly excited at him signing. I truly hope he does prove me wrong as I will be so pleased to see him scoring for fun for us.
Nelsen I think is a good signing, an experienced defender is just what we need.

I was asking myself why it was that I seldom post onto other clubs' message boards. Turns out the answer is that I can't be bothered, 'cos they ain't important to me. I feel flattered that the Rs are so important to many Norwich and Swans fans, although I guess one or two Rs pop over to theirs once in a while?
Apparently 7 out of 10 threads on the Fulham boards 1st page were about us. Now thats some serious obsession from them.

I cannot believe how disrespectful they are being to a good servant like AJ ( Ok he got injured but scored 3 past us, their biggest match, and always gave 100%) What a bunch of spoilt 'Tarquins' they are?
I don't have a problem with Fulham and i really don't see them as a rival. I remember them not long ago with 3-6K gates. Since then they have grown in a Prem and got the fans through the gates (even if most are tourists). Only thing lets them down is the crap away support and that dodgy statue outside... and the Chairman "it was a conspiracy by the British government"! Al Fayed muppet.
They are a small time club, the fact that their away support can go to games outside the m25 in a minibus is a farce.
They will be back down to the 6k gates if they go down and we will probably pick up quite a few of their fans with a new stadium, better tell Tony to stock up on pimms!

Our two new signings I think are excellent business... Andy Johnson stats or no stats is a very very good footballer as is Nelson ... you will all see him shortly as he is in the Olympics for NZ. As I said also Tony F has stated live on the club website player that Adel is not being sold plus he considers Faurlin to be our best player and valued at over 10 million ... Its time to get excited lads as I think we will be very strong now and I am looking forward to at last giving that Norwich team a pasting they deserve
When Green is announced tomorrow that will be the end of the out of contract signings. Onwards and upwards. The best is yet to come. (God, I hope I'm right!)
From another perspective. A good friend of mine is a fulham season ticket holder who meets aj on match days. He told me that he was a lovely bloke who went out of his way to help him sort out some charity shirts for him. He also said that he works extremely hard on the pitch chasing everything. Personally I was happy he was a nice bloke. Good luck aj and all new players this year.

Norwich have a plethora of top quality strikers it's making me jealous.
I been on Norwich site just once I remember to suggest thay look at their ex'player and ex Rosenborg and Norway Manager à ge Hareide for their next manager. Only response I heard was someone wondering if he weren't looked at the previous time. Pity - he is absoulute Cr*p, and Viking Stavanger fired him the next week!
Think AJ is confusing 'stature' and 'ego' but after talking to Sparkles it's easy to see why
