Android is a very good and stable OS plus the marketplace for apps is more extensive.

Blackberry OS is also good but apps are costly and normally business orientated.

I use the phone mainly for business and checking emails etc so I'm going with Blackberry.

ESPN GOALS - Allows you to watch all the goals and highlights soon after they happen, on a saturday you might have to wait till about 5.15 to see all the goals
    plus its FREE

As most people have said ESPN goals, Skysports Football Centre and Skysports News apps are all good for the footy. Not sure if it's also available on android (have an iphone 4) but aroundme is a useful app, as is vouchercloud. And Angry Birds is strangely addictive.

FYI, don't get a HTC Wildfire. It's a good little phone to get you started on Android, but a couple of months down the line you'll regret not going a bit more upmarket. Although I'm not even sure if they still sell the Wildfire anymore.

Yeah, I'd imagine the Wildfire S is alright. I own the original Wildfire so I can only speak for that one.

The desire is £17.99 and the Wildfire S £12.99per month . Not sure if it would be worth paying the extra for what I'll be using it for?

I've got the Sony Eriscsson X10 mini pro and it's ****e, battery life is terrible. Less than 6 hours on high usage, less than 15 hours on medium usage and about 22 hours low usuage. Basically needs charging every night!

I charged mine 100% the other night and 2 hours later it had used 13% just sitting on the arm of the chair. Didn't even have any of the features turned on (GPS, background info etc.) I have to use it on the lowest backlight setting to prolong battery. Wish I'd never bought it, can't wait to get rid!!!
