But on a serious note, that representation is actually true.
I worked for a while at Twydales. In fact, where I worked, we were told to rear a handful of birds with the simple aim of seeing how big we could grow them. Poor buggers could hardly even walk they were so big. Pumped (injected) and fed full of all sorts to make them grow quicker and beyond their natural state, just a more extreme outcome of the pictured 1957 version v's the 2005 one. And some say "yeah but white meat is healthy". [HASHTAG]#guffaw[/HASHTAG]. Think about that when you're enjoying your Xmas turkey (or other poultry the rest of the year).

This article just makes me very, very sad. It's a bit long but the last few lines (below) make me despair...

One couple put off by the long queue in Bolingbrook started to pull away before the driver leaned out the window and hollered to a traffic-directing McDonald's employee.

"What time are you open tomorrow?" she asked.

"Six am," came the reply. "But it gets busy pretty early."

"In that case," the driver said, "do you think it's worth getting here maybe an hour early?"
