Online banking is brilliant.

Why would you not do it?

Having said that when Google's services all went down this lunchtime and I couldn't access my Calender, Drive or Gmail I was basically ****ed and had to resort to shouting at IT staff that I couldn't do any work and they needed to fix it.

Not their fault apparently.

Still, no harm in keeping them on their toes.

It's the system mate, systems down. Shrugs shoulders and walks away.

Swish is SO convenient :emoticon-0148-yes:

Indeed!
For anyone wondering what it is.
Basically a payment system that's instant.
Lets say Stockholm Tiger buys me a pie at the game.

All I have to do is open the Swish app, enter his telephone number and the amount, which will take me through the mobile bank IDs security system. I enter my security code (9-10 digits or something like that) and Mr Stockholm Tiger has the money on his bank account instantly.

I think the Hull system's better. You just buy him a pie back some other time. <ok>

I'm talking to a human advisor now, good times. She put me on hold tho.

Realized how much I struggle with the word "recipient"
Impossible to pronounce

Reezeepunt?

Ress ip e ent

Too late now but you'll be pronouncing recipient like a native next time.

Had to read this headline a good few times before I got it. I mean, who the **** calls himself FKA twigs?

FKA twigs sues ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf over alleged abuse

To be fair, that isn't her name.

It's better than being called Shia, either way.

My elderly customers often pay by cheque. The weird thing about taking photos to bank cheques is that now I have a massive collection of cheques.

I don’t know if it differs between banks, but my bank has a £500 limit on individual cheques and a £750 daily limit, making it next to useless for business banking.

Sounds good. You can do that with Paypal though. I send money to my son quite a lot that way.

Click his name, tap amount, press send. The auth is done on entering the app. Mine is usually a two-factor check. Thumb and text. Takes seconds as sms code is autofilled to the app.

I'm sure there'll be loads of other ways to do this. It's all pretty standard these days.

Glad you Scandies caught up with the RoW ;)

As a self confessed technophobe who likes to use the old fashioned bank with real people and real cash, I find it mildly amusing when those who jump into technology like online and telephone banking and then get pissed of when there are no people to help them sort any problems. You brought it on yourself.
Not saying this is your case here but just in general.

With you 100% on this.
