Fair enough, I obviously don't know his circumstances but personally I couldn't think of any reason good enough to hand my dog over to the RSPCA, I have relatives and friends that would take him if things ever got that drastic. It'd be worse than handing my kids over to Social Services. The bloke in question here cared about his dog which was well looked after. Good reason he was giving it over to the RSPCA. He was very upset but doing it the way he did has ensured it has a more suitable home and it is now living a better life than it woukd have. He wasn't dumping it like all 5 of my rescue dogs have been. The latest one was chipped, the dog rehomers got in touch and they didn't want him back.

Most I've had at one time is 2. No problems with picking up poo. I have a device for that. Been married to her for 44 years.
Hope your dog poop picker has a sense of humour or you may be in the ****![]()

He could carry the dog up two flights of stair. Piece of piss.He was a bloke who who took the dog, an Akita, from a family he talked to on holiday who didn't want it.
He had gone through rough times, including homeless, and the dog had been his constant companion. But he got rehomed 2 years ago and their were 2 flights of stairs. The dog was really struggling to get up and down them. He did the responsible thing and called in the RSPCA, who thought he did the right thing, to ensure it was looked after and got the chance of a better life. Which it has. The bloke was visibly upset.
There are a lot of ****s featured on that programme, but he wasn't one of them.
