Rode this same stretch of road only two weeks ago, stopped for a photo opportunity in the lay-by at 1:30 ....... I've never ridden a better peice of tarmac.

that the same strech of road as kings house and the ski resort?

It's the A82 - Kingshouse is, I believe, just off it; the ski-resort is in Glencoe itself.

i've hiked there, that bridge is just past kingshouse, with the 'devils staircase' in the background of the shot
stunning place but darn cold

You can certainly see how bleak it would be in wintertime, two weeks ago it was wall-to-wall sunshine, every day for a week - in all the years I've been going to Scotland I've never known weather like it.

i went in may time and it's the coldest i've ever been
but if you go 50 miles north, the west coast is surprsingly scorching in summer
with crystal clear water

That's where we were <ok> ....... Home to Moffat > Tarbert > Kinlochleven > Plockton (via Skye) > Fort William > Moffat > Home. We did about 1400 miles in the week, ate some great food, drank some good beer and had a great crack. I love my family hols but, the odd few days away with a group of like minded mates is brilliant.

Sam Warburton retires from rugby union age 29 due to ongoing injuries.
A real shame.
Brilliant player and skipper of Wales and the Lions.
Gave two superb displays in the tests last year against the All Blacks.

Always a shame when a sports player has to retire early, but sound like he has had a decent career. Hopefully he has been recompensed enough that he doesn't need to go down the pits.

I have, however, never heard of him.
