They are the egg men.
Pecky little bastards mind, them elementary penguins.
Best avoided if you're going to attempt this walk. Taste ****e anarl.
Take a couple of Huskies, you'll be fine.
BTW, it'll impress the birds more if you do it without the map.
I've been there (S Georgia). Stayed in Grytvykken (sobering place), but got the chance of a jolly. You must log in or register to see media
Is there any resemblance Ernie?
Heard it was quite nudge nudge lonely down there...I've been there (S Georgia). Stayed in Grytvykken (sobering place), but got the chance of a jolly.
Landed on the beach from a Lynx with just the aircrew and ships captain. Think it was the same place Life in the Freezer was filmed.
Huge valley full of penguins.
**** me do they smell bad. Rotten fish ****e smell.
Got some nice photos mind.

Did the Falklands twice, but was very lucky to get on a ship that spent a week along side at S Georgia, and I got to go ashore and stay in Shackleton House. A truly beautiful and haunting place. The side of the harbour where the Whaling Industry was based was strange. There was a little museum there, but all these buildings which are deserted and slowly decaying, all snow covered. Evidence of what happened during whaling all around, which I understand at the time was necessary, but now you just think "Jesus Christ, they could walk from one side of the harbour to the other on the corpses of dead whales".I know what you mean, I have done the Falklands once, for fishing reasons not military. But flew from Brize Norton, as that was the only way then to get there. The whole place smells of fish, but I love it.
You know the urban myth about how a swan could break a mans arm?Heard it was quite nudge nudge lonely down there...
Did you pppp pick up a penguin??
