Had a similar consultation with my doctor the other day. Told him I couldn't stop farting. He left the room for a minute and came back with a long pole with a hook on the end of it. I asked rather concerned, "what are you going to do with that?" The doctor replied, "open some ****ing windows, it stinks in here".
 
January 29th 1965 The Who appeared other TV for the first time on Ready Steady Go. Also on the Animals, Hollies, one hit wonder Goldie and the Gingerbreads, a then unknown Donovan and a 20 year old Ellie Brooks. And most importantly to us 14 year olds, Sandy Sargent. Some RSGsremain but not this one unfortunately.

The Who appeared 18 times on RSG, more than any other artist.

Those around at the time were lucky as no music show since has been as good.
