    Looks like a DB5. I don't know my cars, but I think the Aston Martin would cost me three times less.

    Oh wait, I have my maths wrong <doh>

    I'd still prefer the DB5 though.

    No different to any other high end investment. £1.5m for a bit of chinese pottery anybody, £100m for a picture by some bloke called Picasso?

    Yep two stupidly stubborn shallow women waste a million and a half each on f*** all . When all around them here we have social and economic problems and the Ukrainians are losing families . They should be ashamed of themselves and their men should have got a grip. Thry could have stopped that’s case half way through and both made a big donation to charity instead of wasting it on lawyers , unless the papers are paying the bills!

    Maybe, maybe not. The Merc money was presumably his own, he can do what he likes with it, he's not obliged to do anything meaningful. Lots of folk have 'obscene' amounts of money but few of them are particularly philanthropic about what they do with it.
    In terms of works of art and the like half the big pension funds in the land invest in that sort of stuff, if it helps them to keep paying my pension I'm all for it.

    And another thing can’t see two blokes doing that , can you ? !!! Wives wouldn’t let them spend the money , there’s an irony ! Or is it juxtaposition? Not sure in this instance my English may not be good enough LOL
