Anyone smart enough to explain what's going on with gas prices? The news is saying the price has gone from about 200 per ton up to near 1000 per ton.

The gas used in the uk is from our own sources, Norway and Russia (maybe other places too) so who and why are the suppliers increasing the price? is it just because they can?

Just seen a uk domestic supplier of energy Green is to cease trading, but as they claimed to be selling renewable energy what has the price of gas got to do with them? or are they not as green as they made out?

Demand up post COVID, Russians reducing supply, firms can’t actually guarantee the molecules and electrons coming into your house are from renewable sources.
