I never had a hello thread and I deserve one so here it is.

Hello everyone. I was a new poster on here once and not one of you said hello and welcome except for dear old beddy.

I won't bother to introduce myself as most of you already know me.

Suffice it to say I like this site and the friendly people are in the main quite level headed, sensible and knowledgeble.

Right. Now I would like all those welcome matey responses that I never had.

welcome St Godders. i'm sure you will carry on enjoying posting on this Board. You might want to go on the fishey board from time to time, as it's all gone a bit quiet over there.
 
I snuck in when no one was paying attention and have been sniping at the bad guys ever since, welcome Godders, I was a bit shy at the time of your arrival, didn't want to be too presumptive.

Agreed. That is exactly what I did. This thread was started as a dreadful attempt at sarcasm/irony, I'm not sure which.

Who needs a fanfare on joining this board? Just come on in quietly and say something insightful. amusing or clever or even all three and we will all love you for it.

Actually I was given a bit of a fanfare from Jasper but have yet to live up to it. I shall try harder to post insightful, amusing and clever posts. We all want to be loved. Especially today. I once sent myself a Valentine card in case no-one else did. I was still at school (just in case you think I'm really sad). Today I just bought myself flowers.

Do spend a few minutes to read the "joint statement from the mods", where you find some good advice on not winding up other teams fans, which you will ignore completely.....sorry, done it again.......which you will find useful.
