What is it with this comic that they continue to publish our low attendances at every given chance, don't seem to recall them publishing our higher gates in the lower leagues.

People moan about you posting about people moaning when they don’t point out what the Allams ****wittery has done to City and then moan when they do

FFS. Inferiority complex rears it's ugly head. Give it up.
You've made your point. Desist with the insults (e.g (1) the last sentence in the first para. plus (2) the final sentence in your post above).

Your position:
Bashing the Allams is now counter productive. Support the team, ignore the damage the Allams have inflicted on the supporters and the clubs progression.
Forget those who can't forget that insulting, antipathetic attitude to the historical support base and recognition of deeply felt club history.
Remember the shallow (even meaningless) gestures they have made to attempt to combat their incompetent management of the franchise and win the paying punters back to bail them out.
We get it.

That's the argument/debate. You have a point. Many others feel differently. They (may) have a stronger counter-point. Just accept/recognize the existence of the latter. View the antagonism towards your viewpoint as (maybe you already do sympathize with it) the way it is.
Perhaps part of your position was inadequately presented. Particularly the "we" factor.

The use of "we" could easily be mistaken for "global" acceptance, but not viewed as such by quite a few posters on this forum, nor (perhaps) those supporters who no longer attend live games (home or away).

Everyone seems to be (high proportion on here anyway) totally in agreement with the damage of the insensitive/selfish way the Allams are stearing the club's business.

The decision to not put cash in through the turnstiles seems to be heavily supported ( for whatever reason ???).

The Allams' contribution to that fact is clear.

Can we not be more civilized in our debate here ?

That's quite some tirade.

Back to reality.

I offered an opinion. I didn't dictate anything.

Your personal dislike and distain towards me is just that. Yours.

You make assumptions from afar. You may be correct, but...

Any weakness in my quite innocent use of the term 'we' wasn't in my intention, but simply in your deliberate interpretation.

But you know that. Don't you.

Of course I can be civilised. I am. I am also aware of those with little to offer but Internet argument. Back to your cellar.

Yet again, you've totally missed the point (my point).
Insults never win debates/arguments. See posts # 645 & # 665 and answer them (if you can).
All interpretations are deliberate, words written mean something. I thought I had explained my position. You've taken offense and responded in your typical fashion.
Why say " Back to your cellar" ? Is that a term of endearment ? A veiled insult ?
My point: Accept others opinions without insult and put a solid argument to back it up.
Not in your remit it appears.

Does your point 'Accept others opinions without insult and put a solid argument to back it up.' work both ways? If it does, then why have you not been so righteous about the misinterpretation and subsequent attack on my simply stated opinion?

The words I used in response reflect the words and tone of the posts addressed to me. Live with it.

No more responses, as I don't wish to follow your example and dwell on here.

I thought your cellar is your media centre where you meet with like-minded men to enjoy football. I seem to recall you posting that, too.

Bye.

You drag up an argument from August 28th and end with "No more responses, as I don't wish to follow your example and dwell on here" <laugh>

You couldn't make this **** up <laugh>

It does. Re-read post # 670, which acknowledges you may have a point.

It also suggests others may have an opposing opinion to yours, in which case you have used personal insults to combat.

Again, I reiterate. Insults add nothing to a discussion/debate. Your response to that seems to be "If they do it, so shall I."

Hardly improves the strength of your argument imo.

Again - my only point.
