Last week on sports talk it was mentioned that the k com had to hold so many finals in local football and rugby in the lease agreement. Yet the presenter had said non had been played there and used other facilities . How true is that and if true have they just broke the lease agreement . So pissed off with the we are untouchable tag . If I heard it wrong I'm sorry I was coming back from an afternoon on the piss and taxi driver wouldn't turn it up .

Sadly I assume the lease will say that the ground has to be available for local finals, and it is...just so long as you pay the extortionate fee to them!

Not just us City fans tho. One by one they are alienating, humiliating, pissing off more and more people. Taking the sign down was a huge own goal. Pretty much everything else theyve done they could argue some (misguided, warped) business logic for it. This was different. There was no business logic. Just pure infantile spite, sticking 2 fingers up at the council and at all Hull taxpayers. I cant see people sitting back and doing nothing anymore. Surely the council and good people of Hull have more about them to allow them to take the piss llike this. They will get their comeuppance. Not sure how, but it will come. Only a sign, but a big mistake. Surely?
I think they have called the Council out time and time again. They know Council wont challenge them in the courts as it's a waste of taxpayers money. That allows them to do what the **** they want with the lease agreement.
They have dry arse ****ed Tiger Nation time and time again. The consequence is falling attendances. They don't seem too bothered about the financial loss and with people losing interest, it mutes any protest.
Bizarre situation when the rest of world places a massive on consulting with the customer.

I think they tried charging a stupidly high fee for a local final to be played there as I remember it got moved to hall road rangers as it was affordable; so yes they basically outpriced it so it didn’t happen

The basic line is there ruthless businessmen with no compassion or care for others and will steamroller there way to getting what they want if it makes them more pounds; anybody objects you then get the petulance

Another mistake when doing the original build lease of the stadium is the 50 years term of the lease. Why on earth did they not do a shorter one which could be easily renewed if both parties agreed.

It's not going to get better any time soon.

I think it's time that everyone voted with their feet.
Supporters shouldn't put a single penny into the coffers through tickets or merchandise.
Will these vindictive owners care probably not but at least you know you are doing something.
I criticised posters on here in the past for not going but they where right all along.
If by the end of it we end up in League 2 or lower so be it.

When I was at school and college (8-10 years back), the rugby and football finals for schools did used to be played there.

They haven’t though for years.

They don’t give a **** who turns up, we’ve lost well over a third of our retail/gate money already and they couldn’t care less.

You are probably correct OLM.
You nearly always talk common sense but that is the only thing left to do I suspect.
It must be soul destroying turning up at the KC knowing you'e paying money to these thieves.

Got to say I can’t see the sense in having all the empty seats in the stadium. Didn’t they give seats away to kids in the good old days. Gets them interested in the game and hopefully keeps them coming in the future. When of the best games I remember was seeing a load of our school kids rip the visiting fans to bits ,Most uplifting.

Children are not welcome thank you very much. Please do not make such ridiculous suggestions
Encouraging children to get interested in the club?...unbelievable

Huzzaaahh!

I actually agree, but do find it inconceivable that 'no one dare challenge them'.
Looking back, they have been very clever in the way they have pissed off different people at different times which I guess is classic 'divide and conquer' tactics. Many of those who would be most vociferous in their 'challenge' have long gone. A master stroke getting rid of half the E1/E2 hooligans early in the campaign.

First they came for the Ruscadorians but I did not speak up as I was not a Ruscadorian.

Next they came for Hull City Council and I did not speak up as I wasn't in their jurisdiction.

Then they came for E1/2 and I didn't speak up as I don't go in the east stand.

Then they came for the name and I didn't speak up as it's their club and they can do what they want with it.

Next they came for the community sports clubs and I did not speak up as I don't roller skate or trampoline.

Then they came for the children and seniors and I did not speak up as my pass got cheaper.

Then they came for the locals who use West Park as a shortcut and I did not speak up as I don't live there.

Then they came for me and there was nobody left to speak up for me.

People who attend need to realise that they are still "irrelevant" for another 18 months, until the parachute payments run out.
