Are there still 2 pitches outside, with the proposal being that a bubble would be placed over 1 of the 2?
Correct.

Any idea who the SMC owe money to?
Can of worms.
I am intrigued, how can anyone group have any sort of tenancy? They simply hired a portion of the arena. How would they be able to challenge the cancellation of the hire agreement?
Eviction is headline term and is not what has actually happened.
I am not trying to justify the actions of the club, but I do not understand where you get a common law tenancy as applied to the short term hire of a part of a commercial building. It is like saying that renting a room in a bed and breakfast lodging house is a form of tenancy, which it clearly is not.

Which hockey team has been ****ed off?

As I don't live locally I'm not up to date with what takes place on the hockey pitches. You are correct that currently the hockey club hasn't been restricted in its use of I assume 2 pitches. If one of the pitches isn't surplus to the club's requirements surely they will be affected by the loss of a pitch to a 3G pitch?
That's what the planning fee pays for.
HA hell of a lot of them too.If you're on Twitter, check out [HASHTAG]#ThingsAllamsSteal[/HASHTAG], some of them are brilliant.
Ah yes the bank loan they didn't know about when they took over the SMC.The last set of accounts ( summer 2014) showed a debt of roughly £2 million to Royal Bank of Scotland (being the amount they expected to pay under a guarantee, basically the mortgage Bartlett took out in the name of the SMC's holding company) and £6 million to Hull City Tigers Limited. Hull City Tigers paid off some of the mortgage and I'm not sure what the balance was for.
I've no involvement in hockey, but as everyone seems to think this is the ideal solution and I've seen no mention of any hockey club objecting, I assume they don't need two pitches.
3 years olds who need to travel 45 mins to be able to bounce up and down are more photogenic and therefore more worthy it seems. It looks like they would be able to survive with one pitch, but junior hockey would be compromised.
It looks to me that there are 4 ladies and 1 mens on pitchero. That surprises me as after googling there are 6 mens teams, 5 ladies, 4 mixed and junior teams and evening training. If the teams play in leagues having that number of teams would suggest 2 pitches are needed. As this issue has only just been suggested may be the reason no response has come from the Kingston Upon Hull Hockey Club. This is an almalgam of 3 clubs and HCC specifically courted hockey to us the pitches when they were being planned. If a pitch is surplus then ok.
So another loser involved by what appears to be inept planning for the pitch by the club.It looks like they would be able to survive with one pitch, but junior hockey would be compromised.

At every stage of this fiasco, whatever has happened has been on Twitter within minutes, but there's absolutely nothing from anyone involved in the hockey, hence my assumption that they don't think it's a major issue.
They may not think it will affect them as it isn't going to happen.
My pitchero suggests 2 mens, 5 ladies and 6 juniors but the use may be in decline or other facilities are being used.It looks to me that there are 4 ladies and 1 mens on pitchero.
