You're right, it's white city I'm thinking of, I remember now. Mix up nowt else. My ma and da used to live in Gilberdyke, before I was born.
Aye, I thought from your description it'd be those you see from the M62, north of Goole.
I used to know someone lived in them.
I don't see any Olympic venues or BBC venues on that map. You mean they are a "different" White City and not on the outskirts of Goole?
So did I in the 1950's. Think there are 4 pairs of semi's. Airmyn Wood just to the west was referred to as Bluebell Wood.Lovely sight in spring.
I really hope they come out with something which puts his nose out of joint and leaves egg on his face.
I would prefer something that put his neck out of joint and left blood on his face...........
