The club are confident that because it can still be used by others when not in use by Hull City they fulfill their obligations. Unfortunately the changes means most of the current users won't be able to use it.

This suggests they are in breach but the fact that the council / Brady hasnt come up with exact wording of the lease agreement is a sign....
Cllr Brady said: "The arena has always been a mixed-use facility for different sports. That is part of the lease.
"As the leaseholder, the SMC is required to notify the council of any change of use or alterations as a matter of course but this did not happen on this occasion."
The arena will have a permanent 3g floor, only sports played on grass will get continued use of the facility, they're not going to buy and store a temporary floor just for the use of trampolines.
I tell you what, something good seems to have come out of this in that we demonstrably - on here at least - have far less in-fighting and 'for versus against' Allam fights. With the straight name change there were a proportion of, clearly mentally challenged

I know that's what the club are saying but its not what I've been told.
Its in the club's interest to say everything's ok. The test will come if the Council take him on. As I said I'm 80% certain they are in breach and the lease to the SMC can be terminated.
Allam is buying a temporary floor for his squash tournament anyway, so there'll be one knocking about doing bugger all for 51 weeks of the year.
It may be a bit of a pain in the arse but it's at least a lifeline, supposing other groups are actually allowed to use the arena complying with academy rules.
It's worth following anyway, it seems there aren't many other avenues for them to pursue at present.
The temporary squash courts are hired, there's nowhere to store them, they'll only be there for the tournament.

He wouldn't be spending £250k on converting it if he thought there was a chance he'd lose it, the council will do nothing.
There are two points, first can the Council legally terminate the contract. The answer to that in my view is yes. However without seeing the lease I cannot be certain.
The second is whether the council will do anything. Of that I'm less certain. Evicting hundreds of users from the Airco Arena is going to make it a lot easier for the Council to stand up to him.
If they terminate the lease Hull City Tigers Limited is rich enough to find an alternative pitch for their academy. There are plenty of empty building for him to convert and lay a carpet in.
A final consideration is whether any of the groups can legally contest the evictions if the council doesn't.

The bigger question is, now that Bishop Bash college have said no to him, where is the academy going to end up with the centre of excellence gone as well?
Allam would like nothing more than to go to war with the council, the council want nothing less, they'll do absolutely nothing.
It would be interesting to know what the issue was at Bishop Burton, but I doubt we'll ever find out.
Another thing, it's not just the academy, the first team will be using it as well and the first team training ground is also getting new facilities.
Maybe, maybe not.
Allam will lose if the Council take him on. On that I am 100% certain.
How can one man cause so much trouble, and think he is doing good things for the community. It really takes some doing.

IMO The council could save £1 and just terminate the SMC lease as Allam, it would appear has broken its terms.Im in no doubt whatsoever if Pearson broke or even slightly bent the terms of HFCs lease then Allam would take action to evict him from The Stadium
