North Yorkshire.
We signed the €3m striker from Gent in the summer after a prolific season for Gent B, here we are at the ripe old age of 19 and he is on the road to full fitness. After completing 64 minutes against Benfica U21s last night, he could be in line for a spot on the bench in the coming weeks, perhaps even against Plymouth this weekend!

Do you think he will have an impact on the first team this season?

I think so. Probably won't be a massive impact but I suspect he'll feature. The larger benches these days make it more likely.

Based on the way the coaches, and club, have done with bringing players on …

… there’s no reason he can’t do what Watson, Mundle, Mayenda, etc have done.

Knowing less than nothing about the lad, I'm saying yes.

Maybe he'll come on and hoy some chairs about and make us look, a bit like Mayenda did very briefly last year

But whoever does the picking for us, more often than not, picks well. So I just fancy he might have an impact sooner or later this season.

I've gone for unsure - a lot of our recent signings have had a difficult first season then kicked on in the second. I'd say he may have a couple of cameos but we wont see the best of him until next year

Transfermarkt isn't really reliable, they make estimates for undisclosed fees, which most modern transfers are, direct sources at the time of transfer are more reliable.
As reliable as a Belgian website that says the fee was up to 3 million euros

That website likely has direct contacts with Gent (amongst other clubs), it's accurate and the player was being looked at by bigger clubs than Sunderland, it was the injury that put them off.

So what? Doesn't make them right. There is no definitive source of what the transfer fee was nor does anyone know how it's structured. For all you know it was £500k up front, with instalments and add-ons across the contract.

Don't let that detract from your salty post about whether he'll make an impact
