We are still getting overrun unless I'm watching another game? So your argument is pretty void.
The only time they have looked like scoring was just now ... in the 91st minute...you lot have made it really hard for them to get in on your goal by sitting deep and not over committing .

Now that's a straw man argument <laugh>

Nope, there are those who keep excusing these **** games under the argument of oh it doesnt matter as long as we get the points at this stage, but it does matter as we have seen over the past 2 months, in which we have dropped points in 8 games, 4 of which came in a row.

Good performances very do much matter, you can't keep limping in every game, and every month, it's not gonna happen, and anyone who thinks it will, are merely in lala delusional land.

Happy with the 3 points. relatively comfortable in the end, although there were a few hairy moments. Have to beat Leicester now.

At least we've ended that awful run of results.

If we play like that next week against Leicester though...

How does that work then ? If we get the points, then it's not related to dropping points. I'd like to see better performances, but the main issue today was to just get the points <ok>

We got the points today, but as we have seen, and just recently in 4 bloody games in a row, more often than not, we won't be getting the points. And most certainly won't against United, City, Everton etc.

I reckon we won today because OXOcube laziness over not writing the match day thread has obviously been the reason we've been dropping points <whistle>

I don't share your pessimism over the upcoming games, but I do agree that the performances need to be better. Today's performance is understandable given that we have been dropping points, we were a bit nervous and just wanted to get the points. I'll take that any day rather than trying to blitz teams and getting done because we're too gung ho.
