I do think if he goes we'll get a class manager in. We've shown we have the money, facilities and too an extent players (gaston being a prime example) to do something special. We'd be a good prospect for any manager.

I dont see why people are getting so touchy over the idea of Adkins getting sacked the team has not been good enough lately, so has to be considered. But for me 3 more games without improvement then its bye bye
Yeah I noticed that after i'd clicked through to the poll bit so I couldn't change it. I did however make the answers relatively clear with the little clarification bits after no and yes.
I'd rather have Arry than Benitez. What has everyone got against Arry? I know there's history, nut he part he played in our relegation was small.
I say yes, letting in an average of 3 goals a game is unacceptable and is relegation form. Change before it's too late.

Survival is surely our target for this year and, at the moment, we're there. Once GR is back, I suspect you'll see a significant improvement.
Don't panic. We have a chairman with the vision for five-year plans. I don't equate that with hotheadedness. I hope that he, like the majority on here, is going to wait before making a decision. He probably also knows how well Saints performed under the old new month, new manager regime.

Stick with him but he has to find a solution to the pub defending.The step up in class has to be understood but the manner in which we lose concerns me.When we concede you know another goal is on its way and usually quickly goals against us come in clusters and i do fear some more heavy deafeats will happen and confidence and the players confidence in each other is and will suffer.Also what we think matters not when Cortese loses faith it will be the end of the road and i feel sure patience is possibly not his strongest point.
Rafa, Harry, Strachan, Curbishley, Mcleish, Hoddle, McCarthey, Coyle, Dalglish, Sven, Kean, Megson, Dowie are all ex-PL managers who are currently unemployed and who come to mind.
Whilst ex-PL managers currently managing outside of the PL include Jewell, Jones, Warnock, Bruce, Holloway, Zola.

So far a majority in favour of keeping Nigel. Hope this shuts a few of you up. We have a class manager who will get the best out of the team we have. Yes, we need to sort out the defensive blunders and bring in some fresh blood but it isn't going to happen until January. Until then, we are going to have very sporadic successes alongside a lot of disappointments but those of us who have supported the Saints for longer than a couple of years ought to be used to that!
Hmm next 3 games...
Tottenham - are in all likelihood going to destroy us.
WBA - going to be a very tough match, can't see a result there.
Swansea - could go either way. But won today against a fair Wigan side.
So in effect you would be basing the decision on pretty much just the Swansea game, as the other 2 don't exactly feel like bankers at the moment. Feels like delaying the inevitable to me based on those fixtures if you give it 3 games.
