BAE and Ade have / had a problem with AVB not spurs fans ... Ade may have been ****e on the pitch but has never been disrespectful to the fans and BAE has always praised and respected us so I don't believe that they'd mock us I would take Benny back in a heart beat but think that Ade should be sold as he has not delivered on the pitch for over a year. What ever the rights and wrongs of the fall out of AVB and BAE he (AVB) was moronic in loaning out the 1st choice left back without having a replacement already signed...it has been a problem most of the season and is all of his own making.
Ok, so everyone put down their pitch forks and douse their torches, story over. Which manager does Ade like? We should pick that one. A firing Ade would really help us.
I knew it! I just couldn't imagine that either of them would want to do something like that, never mind have the balls to. Anyone who knows anything about BAE should have thought that the alleged behaviour was seemingly way out of character. I've been saying for a while that a new manager would instantly find a couple of very good players down the back of the couch (three if he digs down far enough for Carroll). And both players will be absolutely geared-up to impress the new man (sounds like the sort of situation Ade likes).
One of the papers says AVB was sacked for not picking Adebayor on Sunday. ...a rumour that will likely be proven false when he's shipped out in January.
Adebayor might go straight into the side against West Ham. He doesn't appear to be injured, Soldado and Defoe doesn't look like a functional pairing and we don't have many other options. He didn't score many goals last season, but none of our strikers have really fired under Villas-Boas, so that might be more of a reflection on the system than the man.
There are a couple of reports circulating that AVB made him stand on a box in front of his teammates and apologise for his behaviour and also that he thought he was feigning injury..... Both may or may not be true (maybe Spurcat can advise?), but there may be some mileage in suggesting that the way AVB managed (or more likely mismanaged) the issues with Ade and Benny did contribute to his parting.
BAE and Tom Carroll are enjoying their time at QPR playing very well, built up a great relationship with QPR fans and are important to us returning straight back to the Prem. Cant you let us keep them to end of the season and when they are back in your first team next year we wont hold it aaginst you when you beat us at The Lane. They are both quality performers in my opinion and no doubt still surplus to your requirements. They almost feel at home at Loftus Road with all the Tottenham connections at the club.
We'll see, but I wouldn't hold your breath on Assou-Ekotto, at least. I'd expect him to get a recall. There's always the possibility that Zeki Fryers could go the other way for the rest of the season. Doesn't look in the same class, but it'd be a good learning experience for him. On the other hand, I suppose our Cameroonian enigma's reaching an age where his value's disappearing, so Levy might be persuaded to sell him and buy a replacement. Who knows?
Kyle Walker and Andros Townsend have been in an Rs shirt during the last couple of season and have been quality along with this season BAE and Tom Carroll so if BAE goes back please don't send us any rubbish
4 good players from us, sounds like you're due a few rubbish ones then! You're welcome to Kyle Naughton, or Fredericks who looked superb against Anzhi Machachakalklaklkalka
There were rumours that Pritchard might be recalled from Swindon so we could send him to QPR last week.
