On Humberside, AP has mooted the possibility of a combined FC+HKR representative team playing matches.

Also, an FC and KR merger is not in the plans at all, other than possibly a combined team to play England in an exhibition game.

Wants FC in the top 4 next season
Why should the takeover mean the clubs are merging? It would be the biggest mistake the board of either club could make. I wouldn't support it and there would end up with a new hull fc and rovers teams set up as amateur clubs. It's like saying man u and man city or arsenal and spurs are gonna merge it would never happen in a month of sundays.
I'm a bit nervous about this, I can see AP possibly switching over to full time egg-chasing.
On the plus side though, AP and the Allam's between them will control City, FC and the SMC.

Looks like there gonna merge the two Rugby teams into one, and then by 2015 with the new football leisure world were going to have they play there too. All makes sense now to why Allams gave £1,000,000 to KR now Adam who works with him is being the chairman.
Who's Hull FC's biggest earner? Will he be frozen out of the team?
At least Hull FC don't have a successful coach, so there'll be no worries about him keeping his job.
I'm so glad my loyalties lie with Rovers.

.
I think it's a superb idea. A combined Hull side against Australia or New Zealand would attract a massive crowd to the KC.
It would be nothing like those massive clubs merging. More Hartlepool and Darlington or Brentford and Leyton Orient. With about as nuch interest nationwide.
