I think he is a Legend. I know when he left he did not do it the right way. In a recent Ricky Lambert interview he basically said Ad's regretted the way he had handled it when he left. He has won medals which will help the youngsters know they can achieve their dreams. If he can also help bring back the Southampton way spirit then that is a big tick in my book.

Do you know where I can find that interview?

What did he do which pissed people off? I genuinely can't remember

I remember him kissing the badge, saying he'd like to play his whole career at Saints and then left 3 months later.
Probably nothing like that but I've had a lot of head injuries

Haha. Would love to know what he really said. Doubt it was that he wanted to stay his whole career at Saints.

Every player kisses the badge these days. Means nothing.

Funny story. I asked AI earlier to find me the interview about him saying he wanted to stay and it quoted my post to you earlier talking about Fonte <laugh>

In no order and off the top of my head.

Rickie
Fonte
Pahars
Morgan
SKD

Other names jumping to mind are Beatts, Claus, Ings.
Such lists interest me partly because I would so struggle to do this and couldn’t order them as you’re not comparing like with like

I also have to contend with a longer time period than you as I’d cover the time I’ve had an ST, which is from 93 I think, 32 years!!!

My list would start with MLT and definitely include SRL, I’d also include Dusan and Grazziano, CMFG, lots of Full Backs, Killer … oh my days there are so many

Yeah Tadic is well up there for me too. I'd also have to consider Pelle purely cos he scored an overhead kick the day my son was born.

Tbh I'd rank Shane pretty highly too.

I remember Fonte telling about getting his Dream Move after signing for West Ham!
Thought he was forcing his way to United and ended up there. Screw Fonte.

Lallana however, was part of the Liverpool pillage of Saints and I cant blame him for going.
Part of me feels Rickie getting his move to Liverpool was a sweetener requested by Lallana too.

And at least Lallana has yet to go mental on social media :D

Le Tiss
Lambert
Lallana
Ward-Prowse
Longy

*JWP purely for the free-kicks.

Dean Richards
Antti Niemi

I'd find it hard not to put these guys on a top 5 list. But top 5 is almost impossible!
Dean Richards was just as bad as Lallana in my eyes. Would not wish what happened to him on anyone. He was a great player and it was very very sad when he passed. RIP

I would say what about 5 least favourite but I imagine the vast majority of everyone's would be from last season <laugh>

Your top 5 being … ?
In no order and off the top of my head.

Fonte

You're forgetting CB Fry, Ron Davies, Terry Paine, Martin Chivers, Mick Channon, Peter Osgood, not to mention Bobby Stokes. I am very old...
