Cleverly being crap does not mean that AJ should be in the squad, I would like our players to do the talking on the field as well as off it.

Always been the same.

Dave Watson was brilliant for Sunderland and played odd games for England, usually in non-important games.
He went to Man City and was an England regular despite his form at Maine Road being erratic.

It f**king stinks and is one of the reasons I lost interest in the national team.

<doh> Oh the last three games coincide with him not getting picked for England - perhaps his confidence has been knocked by Roy Hodgson picking 4 wingers with a combined total of 4 goals and 1 assist ahead of him? How would you feel if your colleague, performing badly at work, got promoted to a job you went for ahead of you? Would you just think "Oh well he deserves it"? I certainly wouldn;t
 
Of course, he has a point. He's spot on. He was picked for England when he was a bench-warmer and now he's on fire and can't get a game. Only the myopic or intellectually stunted would disagree.

Agree with the majority of this but, being an LFC fan, I have to take exception to the bit in bold. Sterling and Johnson (Adam) have been the form wingers this season. Performances and stats don't lie. I'd take them both. If Young goes, Hodgson needs to slice the top of his head off like a boiled egg and give his brain a good wash in lye! <ok>
 
Didn't Mickey Gray and Gavin McCann get capped with us? The problem with AJ is his consistency, if you ask me. If he plays out of his skin all well and good, but he didn't do himself any favours in the LC final.

REALLY? If Lennon is considered 'talented' then by comparison Johnson is in line for Ballon D'or.

The FA need ripped a new arsehole, sooner or later somebody (probably Joey Barton) will do it, and expose them for what they are, there's only one reason why Woy got that job and it's because he's just a stupid, old, dumb **** who will bend over all day long for FA pipe.
