The Palestinians don;t help themselves either, maybe if they stopped people firing rockets across the boprders at schools it could all simmer down a bit. Then, in 67, Nasser decided to instigate the six day war by closing the canal to Israeli shipping, got his arse beat and talked Jordan & Syria into invading, they got their arse beat and the West Bank was 'recaptured'. Ever since then they have been continually threatened with annihilation by half the Arab states. There are lots of factors at work, not least that it's a country surrounded by bitter enemies, all who would like to see it irradicated, the arab countries can lose 50 wars and their countries will survive each loss, Israel won't survive one lost war.

Why am I not surprised to find you condoning terrorism....again If Hamas were just about reclaiming all of their motherland, then fair enough, but its very clear their mandate is to exterminate all Jews. Hamas have very little credibility in the Muslim world generally and my views are they are ****s. My point was to ask the question that are Hamas really enemies of Israel? Palestinians don't necessarily think so and towards the end didn't think Yasser Arafat (once a hero) was either.
