Did I shout for a double manager team last week, think I shouted Pearce n Phillips.

Out of sync with you all, would rather have Pearce than a great deal of what is being proposed including poyet.

Am I further mad saying I cannot believe holloway hasn't been mentioned.

He's someone who will never be offered a job by a Premier League club ....... the only time he'll manage in this league is by bringing up a team that will then be relegated.
 
Holloway/warnock that's exactly my point, they have managed in the premiership, albeit for a shorter time, but did they ever really have a chance, Blackpool did very well for there short spell and we've coverted some of there players we probably hadn't heard of before. They are both passionate, can convey that passion in English, not lost in translation. Not bothered about all these foreign managers including poyet and Zola.

Still fancy Pearce/Phillips or Pearce/ball

Not enough no's in there roker. We have just had a disciplinarian and it didnt work. JOS, Ceullar AJ and them lot would just not give a f*ck. We need someone who can get the team bonding from day one.
 
I actually don't mind Pearce, he has made mistakes, but I think he want to play football the right way, as a defender he would have us organised, has managed in the premier and would command respect, I could think of worse candiates

We should get Shearer with Barton his assistant in for 1 game the derby game !, that would be interesting. After they clear all the thrown bottles and toilet rolls out of their dug out he would bring Danny graham back and he would score 2 own goals, with him up front and 9 defenders ! if we lost he would do cartwheels up to the north stand.
I would like an English manager in but who is available ? Joe Kinnear he is doing a great job at Newcastle !.
