I was considered a jinx last year so haven't been to a single game this year...
I hope those that parroted the company line about Cortese overspending and getting us into debt take note of the above. Whilst remembering that no club ever went bankrupt whilst *in* the PL.

Fate, as Tim Minchin suggested is “an inherently flawed notion” for reasons which are obvious to those who think about it, although people rarely do. The same goes for Karma.
As for playing in the Championship next year, I recall Kipling’s exceedingly good remarks;
“If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same...”
... I am tempted to say, you are unlikely to find this forum much to your liking

I haven’t, no. But we’re not terribly good at beating people, and we have to rely on Swansea doing nothing. Squeaky bum time.

Agreed. Beat Bournemouth and things look a lot rosier. Lose, and we're done (probably).
We need to beat Bournemouth Saturday and win away at Swansea at the very minimum and hope Chelsea and Bournemouth beat Swansea .......then its squeaky bum time all round, but first we must win Saturday or the fat lady will start warming up her voice.
I'm already nervous about it.
Thing is, if we can't beat Bournemouth at home, along with not taking three points from any of the promoted sides, we kinda deserve to go down.
Sounds so easy, but the reality is we have won one league game in 20 which was against West Brom. Winning 2 on the bounce would be incredible. The fact that we are even in with a shout of staying up after that run just shows how terrible the league has been this season.
I'd rather not have had our season dependant on us beating Bournemouth, being a local derby of sorts, they will be motivated more than most I suspect. It ain't going to be a picnic at SMS on Saturday...
True, the three promoted sides deserve PL football next season much more than we do.
I think a lot of people are over looking that Huddersfield will need 7 points if we get 12...
Going to reply to my own comment.
To look at it positively, if we get 6 points from our next two and Huddersfield get 1 from theirs, they will be 1 point ahead with 2 to play.
Two wins on the trot should be easy for us?
