Heard there is a bid going in now for him, I hope this is not true! He's awful! 84 goals in 300 games tells you enough! He looked dreadful last season, but he'd come good at a new team right? His previous stats mean nothing, right?

This deal to me sounds desperate. We're just scrambling around to find a player after Long left. And with no European scouting network. Marry in haste, repent at leisure. Let's hope Hernandez doesn't out to be a complete bitch.

I'm not entirely sure, you have until noon on Friday to be registered for Saturday games and I think it's 5.00pm Friday for Sunday games, but I'm not sure where I got that from.

I thought it was the same for both ie 12noon no matter when you're playing so of all teams featuring over a weekend, none have an advantage and can register a player later. Could be wrong, like.

Sky Sports understands Hull City are poised to announce the signing of Palermo striker Abel Hernandez. Talks have been ongoing all week and now a deal has finally been thrashed out to see the Uruguayan move to the KC Stadium.

Somebody mentioned that on here yesterday but they wasn't sure how true it was. Hopefully it gets done in the next hour or two.
 
I think as long as the relevant paperwork has been submitted in time he'll be eligible, though I'm not sure if his work permit needs approval before the deadline.
 
He'll do the running around to make space and Jelavic will benefit, scoring 12-15 goals as we go on to finish in the top half.
 
Has Hernandez been training with the squad the last couple of days? If not seems unlikely he would be involved against Villa even if available.
