Again, rubbish. Between Marseille away and Swansea away, his form was steady and he did work hard. That was still not Ramsey at his very best but he never let anyone down. But, feel welcome to name a 'bad' or 'rubbish' performance between the period I suggested.
There is a huge difference between criticising a player's performance, having understood his role and what he is being asked to do on both sides of the ball, and just saying he is ****. He clearly isn't ****. He is playing on an Arsenal team that is the best in England right now, and there are no easy games. Teams just can't carry **** players. The modern world has empowered the ignorant observer to the point of sheer lunacy. Unfortunately this has gone hand in hand with the game becoming more complex than ever. Piskie is right in a way, if you continually declare these player to be ****, instead of their performances, then you have to accept people laughing at you and saying, "Look at the nutter". Do you not accept that massive probibility is that you are wrong (and not Wenger & the Arsenal coaching staff)? I mean given the likely disparity in your experience, knowledge and training.
Nope, I never rated Bendtner and Denilson was never a defensive midfielder. If Wenger applied your outlook Alex Song or Flamini would never have made it at Arsenal either.
No, I don't think I am wrong, he has been playing sh!t for us, I am declaring him to be sh!t BASED ON HIS PERFORMANCES so I have no idea what you are talking about. And yes, we are on a good run, and when Ramsey plays in the team, we play worse, and just look at that QPR result. Yesterday, the game was over in 11 minutes and not because of anything Ramsey did. In fact, let's make you happy, let's say Ramsey had a good game yesterday, LOL, congratulations, Ramsey had a good game against a Wolves side that have lost 7 in a row, are getting relegated, and just to add the icing on the cake, had 10 players on the pitch. And let's not forget, Wenger and the coaching staff also put their hope and trust in players like Denilson, Squilachi even after they consistently put in sh!t performances.
Exactly. The abuse has been way over the top. People blaming him for the QPR loss and saying he was **** - well newsflash - the whole team played badly that day, so why Ramsey is singled out just seems like lazy scapegoating to me. As for BLINKER fans vs REALISTIC fans, well it won't surprise you to know that I consider myself to be a REALISTIC fan, but I wouldn't see the argument as being so polarised. The way I see it Ramsey has been asked to do a job this season filling in for FOUR midfielders who haven't featured this season. He's worked tirelessly and given 100% in every game his been in. His pass rate has actually been better than Fabregas' last season, so the accusation that he 'always gives the ball away' is not accurate. Last night against Wolves, he played really well, his confidence was flowing and he was unlucky not to score. You could see towards the end of the game that he was involved in every attack, kept and moved the ball really well. He's a skillful player, who already has good experience at 21. He's got a long career ahead of him at Arsenal and there will come a time where those who've been slagging him off are going to be forced to eat their words. I've got no respect for people who constantly slag off our own players, it seems that some people aren't happy unless they've got a scapegoat to pick on and blame for everything that goes wrong. It's neither accurate, constructive nor shows much insight into the ability of our players.
Very easy, Fulham, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Marseille home (he was so bad he got subbed off in 66 minutes). I could go on and on.
Against QPR, he played on the left. A position that he never played in before that game. In his current form he would done a job in the middle like against Everton, but on the left he was left exposed.
firstly ,i will do what i like and not what you think is right. secondly , its idiots like you who quote a whole statement, when they may only disagree with one sentence, that clog up the forums. Im sorry did it tax your brain to read just a sentence and not the whole quote . really , you are not doing yourself any favours . What next ? Look for holes in my grammar ? . I bet your a real barrel of laughs down the pub arent you ?
In none of those games was his 'bad' or 'rubbish'. Like I said he was steady but he never let anyone down there. His form dropped off a cliff after the Swansea game. That's when people really got on his back. Before, that our biggest concern was in defence and full backs.
"Against QPR, he played on the left. A position that he never played in before that game. " Is this serious ? Are you seriously telling me that he , as a professional footballer , has never played in a position that is not his "normal " position before , and will , of course , play badly and forget how to pass.? These excuses are getting more desperate. Take me now lord , take me now . Lets just agree that some people think he is good enough for Arsenal FC , and some think he is not . someone please close this thread before i say something i might regret .
When you're old enough to go to a pub you'll find out what it is like trying to be a barrel of laughs
Do you realise that Ramsey has got a better pass completion rate than Fabregas last season ? Please explain to me how that equates to a player who 'forgot how to pass' ?
This the the premier league. You really think a player can adapt and play in a role that he has never played before in one game. His confidence was never high before that and adjusting to a new role was less then ideal. As for forgetting how to pass. QPR pressed us really well in that game and on a tight pitch they really did not give any of our players a second on the ball, even Arteta got caught on the ball. Ramsey before that game, played against Everton and he was part some great moves that we put together in the early of that game.
oh are we not done yet ? ok . See if you can see where i seem to be repeating my point . Do you realise that Ramsey has got a better pass completion rate than Fabregas last season ? we seem to be going round in circles but ok ..... lets summise . He WAS good now hes NOT good . Anything to add ?
Every time the kids are off school on holiday some smart arse has to start showing off their computer skills
Ramsey was better earlier in the season. That's a fact. His form did drop off around the Swansea game. Pass completion rate means jack, seriously, stop talking about it like it means something. Denilson and Emile Heskey would be the best players in the world on that stat.... just pass the ball backwards or to the side. I'm more alarmed with the people who criticise the critics of Ramsey. When I said he played terribly I had people jumping on me like I committed some cardinal sin. Let people criticise and don't question their loyalty, they're here because they care.
No, you ****ing donut Ramsey has a better pass completion rate THIS SEASON than Fabregas had last season. How does that equate to someone who has forgotten how to pass ? I'm dying to hear your explanation . . .
