Aaron Ramsey is obviously a talented player and the amount of stick he's got, though justified, has been well over the top. Some of the caustic abuse he receives and the amount of times he gets rebuked is, quite frankly, a joke.
Every player has a poor season now and again. Ramsey has shown his class in the past and he has done it on several occasions this season - he is a scapegoat and nothing more IMO. Not to mention he is 21 years of age.
You can't expect a player to get everything right.
I have moaned at Ramsey for doing plenty of things wrong this season and within reason, but not once have I ever called or alluded for him to be sold. Why? Because I know class when I see it. I know Ramsey will improve and that this season is transitional. Some people forget how good he was before Shawcross broke his leg - his energy, the technique he had on his shots, how dexterous he was with both feet, his wider range of passing, his poise, his movement, the extra dimension he brought to our play - people do not lose their quality overnight.
Personally I feel Wenger was wrong in not ensuring that he either extended the loan spell with Cardiff or went to play for another Championship club. He was not ready to come back and and now Wenger's thrown him straight into the deep end whilst he is still recovering - both psychologically and physically - and he's still looking slightly raw. He's not prepared to get consistent game time in the Premier League yet, but I have no issue with him being an impact player on the bench.
This season overall has been one to forget for Aaron, but no way would I suggest selling him. Maybe loan him out, but I wouldn't dare sell him.
