Just going through some old memorabillia and came across this, brought back a few memories. I think I can just about name most of the players, is that Greg Downs with hair second front ? How many can you get ? Also, check out the flared trackie bottoms !

My goodness, does that take you back! How did they run around with all that hair?

Memories from those days: (1) Martin Peters' blatant dive winning a penalty. It was so uncommon in those days I remember being shocked! (2) Martin Peters' hanging cross for Ted McDougall to out jump Phil Parkes and score against West Ham

Martin Peters what a player, one from my collection of football cards:

I started watching a year after this picture and to be honest I would struggle to name many of them.

Ron Saunders, Peters, Hansbury, Keelan, Boyer and Super Mac are obvious one's but most of the others had me scratching my head more than just a little.

Steve Grapes is the 1st on the top row, I used to go to school with his brother way back then. His brother gave Steve my autograph book and I got it back signed by the whole squad ! Still got it too <ok>

Yes, John Bond and Ken Brown (both seated) were the management team; Ron Saunders had gone off to .... Villa. Other still familiar faces include Duncan Forbes and Dave Stringer.

Brought back fantastic memories of my early trips to Carrow Road. Trying to pick up Duncan Forbes - the ultimate hardman. Reminded of the great quote from the Times "Forbes got his customary booking; the referee ought to take his name in the changing room rather than on the pitch thus saving time." although, surprisingly, he was never sent off.
