As per the title this is probably a stupid question.

A very small opportunity has opened up for me to potentially attend the QPR match on the 21st.

I have meetings in London earlier in the day and now have a meeting in Sheffield on the 22nd so need to travel up North anyway.

My problem is that looking at the trains the earliest I could get to Hull is 19:20 so I'd have to head straight to the ground. However, I'll have an overnight bag with me which I obviously couldn't take into the match. I know there are no storage facilities at the MKM.

Does anyone know if there are lockers at the train station and/or a baggage storage place close to the MKM that would be open before and after the match. I guess not but thought it worth asking.

There's no lockers at Paragon, but there is nearby...

Are you staying overnight in Hull? If so quick taxi to the hotel, dump bag, then to the ground. Biggest risk though is the train arriving in Hull on time.

Is there not any kind person on here that travels to the match in their car, that could pick you up from Paragon and let you leave your case in their car until after the match. I’m unfortunately unable to make that game as I’ll be out of the country otherwise I’d certainly do that for you mate.

I would normal stay at my Mums but that's over in Hessel and I don't think I could get there and back. I could book into the Holiday Inn, and not mention I was in town. I did only just see her at Christmas

TBF I might just do that.

With the trains being so vague I wouldn't want to have someone be late waiting for me. If I'm late it's my own fault.

I sometimes turn up at the stadium with an overnight bag, just a small rucksack though?

If it's only small and you can carry it around with you, they'll have a quick squint in it at the table and let you in if there's no booze etc in it.I realise that you might not be travelling as light as I do but if this helps:emoticon-0148-yes:

I park in the staff car park at Paragaon. If you want to leave your bag in my car let me know I don't mind helping.

Failing that if you're on a Hull Trains service let me know what train it is and I will see it my missus can sort you to leave it in their stores and get you it after the game. Just PM me if you need help.

Hi ST. Could you call the clubs main switchboard and ask them. (01482 504600) They might be accommodating and say you can leave your belongings in the main HCAFC office or the West Stand entrance and collect it after the game. It might be worth a call or an email to [email protected]. Good luck.
Pfffftttt...They don't even let you in the dugout bar for a slash.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

I've walked in there on a few occasions. On each occasion I've not been stopped at the door, by the geezers stood there, to show any ID in the form of my membership card. Maybe I've got a trustworthy boat.
