I see most of the Christmas adverts we now see on TV (especially Sainsburys) have gone from one extreme to another in relation, to race representation....Not proportional whatsoever, which would be fair enough...is it to wind us up??
or is it thought that we are still (and for the foreseeable future) in debt to society for what our ancestors did hundreds of years ago?

should you ask younger people outside of Bristol who he was probably 0.00000001% might close to Bristol 0.01% take it as step further and ask what he did and what might you get then …… a pinhole view of his life.
He was a successful trader before he became involved, and was a successful trader after being involved... that small bit in the middle was what unfortunately happened in a period of almost 400 years ALL European countries with a coastline to the Atlantic took part [ BRITAIN in the wider picture just a hand ful of years ] ….. and so did 3 or 4 west coast African countries selling their fellow countrymen into slavery for a few trinkets!
cant do that... would upset the original singers and song writers … would be riots on the street and probably want to pull down St pauls or Westminster ABBEY..
Now here is a twist … worked for a company for 2 years [ 4 nights a week ] when getting my Courier business started. It was retail supplier, major chain .. should your shift fall on Christmas night/ boxing night/ etc you had to work .. you got paid double time and a day off , single time and 2 days off, not to be taken as bank holidays, or triple time or have it off with single holiday day pay[one per team]. WHEN the rosta was put up to tick your choice a number of peeps were not on it … non Christian! all had festivals later in year. they went loopy wanted triple time days off with pay none wanted to work …… told they had to work or no pay.. it was normal wages .. take a day off and use holiday entitlement to get paid single rate. ALL took it off no pay or holiday day. when their festival

I ask you the same question that Wiz declined to answer would your thoughts be the same if the word was the offensive racist slur rather than this homophobic one?
and what's wrong with the Sainsbury's ad, isn't it just a family at Christmas?
