As for your last line, I, personally am not stopping anyone from buying a banner and displaying it, regardless of what is on it - the whole suggestion is well beyond strange; my only action is to express an opinion on an anonymous forum of some few thousand subscribers - all of whom have an 'ignore' facility - what is your problem? I don't wear a shirt, but anyone who wants to should be able to. I have not manufactured thename-change debacle, or the ASI Fund bollocks, I did not issue the season ticket statement, I don't understand what it is you are going on about, why you are so desperate to defend James Mooney. We vary our point of view of how he operates - I believe you cannot separate each issue when the is a number of them and all contentious.

So, fans chose the banners freely to suit their own wishes. The whole ethos, chosen by Hull City fans, was to support the team on the pitch. A vote was had after requests from Hull City fans to keep politics out of it, and a decision made by Hull it fans was accepted. Most seem willing and able to respect that. Those that disagreed, didn't donate, but we're still welcomed to voice their view's on the design within the criteria Hull City fans decided.

This is a longer way of saying what i said, the fans on here chose a non controversial design to show support for the manager and team also an attempt to build bridges with the club. Which you went onto say was wrong now your saying that's right.

Kind of puts lie to your claim.

Offer stands, a risk free flag of your own to your own design.

I think anyone who reads your response will see that it in no way answers my reply to you - it might help if you referred to my use of editor, rather than editing, but that in it's self is a form of mischievous, or clumsy editing. I have given numerous thorough and reasonable explanations of my position, you ignoring them and claiming they don't exist is sadly pathetic conclusions can certainly be drawn from that.

I am presuming you are speaking of Balkan Tiger, when you speak of 'my tag partner', but I have no idea what you are talking of, I wouldn't know, or want to know, how a tag partner works. If you were to stop trying to find fault by fabricating nonsense, you would notice that all of my posts have been careful in that they only represent me, no one else - you should try it.

There was discussion of all issues involved, including the OP topic; the banner issue was only mentioned as one of a number of issues, it was the moderator that raised it's importance in the discussion. Very poor, but not unexpected.

The fact that it is not possable to have a banner ( over and above the 6x4 dimensions permitted in the existing rules and regs ) in the KC stadium which reads Hull City is an issue which needs adressing.
I made an offer on here to test that and it still stands as i wrote it. You could have another poll to see if those on here would accept the Bruce banner being replaced for one home game with a banner that reads WE ARE HULL CITY.

As for the quotes you're after, have a read of this thread. It should be easier now they're neatly together.

Instead of trying to generate the same issues again, and again, you could always call my bluff and get a design of your own (risk free) or take me up on the offer of meeting the people you're accusing so you can find the truth rather than making guesses.

You'll get more success looking at the specific problem areas rather than this scatter gun aproach. You could even find we've a fair bit in common on some of it, and I could probably add some detail to your theory.

Except people specifically decided against doing that. It's the bit you seem to miss and attribute to some conspiracy from the club.

If you want to do that, I can help, but not as far as the current system goes, because that goes against the free democratic choice.

You're quite at liberty to start your own poll and banner collection in the same way we did. The more banners the better in my view.

The smaller ones are because currently, there's nowhere else suitable for big banners. Again, that wasn't the decision of the club. They have suggested other areas, but that would have added delays, or possibly come to nothing are there are other factors.

The design was the specific, free democratic choice of fans who specifically wanted to support the team, without it becoming a political statement. It's a shame you refuse to respect that choice.

You've been given several opportunities to test your theories and you've backed off each time.

There are plenty of genuine issues, you don't need to invent others.

If, as every other time, this starts raking over the same thing, I'l move it to the banner thread.

It was you who took it down that path. I reposted my original response to PLT which held an opinion that was topical an not offensive - do you now act as editor and decide what opinion can be posted, is it now the case that your opinion must be right and no other one counts? It was you that listed a series of so-called facts which, in my opinion, were both provocative nonsense and wrong, but you then say I cannot respond to them. Is that really how this board works?
I think the other moderators, who I have copied into my complaint, should offer guidance in open forum. This editing has nothing to do with reasoned moderation, it has everything to do with a moderator abusing his powers to do nothing more that defend his opinion, by editing conversations to their own agenda.

It's not incredible, it's a professional strategy to achieve their aims - the 'chummy' Mr Mooney, is playing you all with consummate ease. This line was a direct response to PLT in relation to the OP subject.

I find it absolutely hilarious how the different channels of outrage over the ASI, the tee-shirts without the club name on and this deliberately vague pricing statement are focussing so many on here, this does nothing that is not done by others on that thread, so what's the problem.

yet some (many, apparently) are prepared to spend further money on funding decorative banners for the owners stadium, banners that don't show the club's name either - banners that, whether intentioned or not, do carry on the owner's principle of losing the club's name. This was one of three related points and nothing said that is not true - unless you can show me otherwise.

You really couldn't make it up. Perhaps we should lend the opposition our star larkers too!

The banners are your baby, your pet project and you are becoming increasingly Allamesque in defending them: as I have said, I have no problem with you doing them, I simply have concerns at the mixed messages it sends to Assem Allam and the tacit support it lends the process of dropping the club's name within the stadium. But fine, it won't matter eventually, as I doubt anyone who cares will be attending.

Nobody has ever been banned because of their view on the name change, I don't even know what that idiot tigerpants view was on it.

You only get banned if you add nothing to the board, other than pissing off other posters and Fez doesn't qualify, though this debate is going absolutely nowhere and has basically just turned into an argument between two posters, which is obviously not ideal. Yep, like some of those same supporters starting a series of banners that 'appear' to support the dropping of the club's name, as they are in the same style he has been employing for some time. I agree, it's foolish to provide him with the smallest of wedges until the appeal is over.
