If they had anything about them they would consult supporters over what flags and banners we would like to see, then buy some big ****ers and display them at every game over the empty seats.

I'm sure next year's extra TV money would cover the costs...

I'm not making excuses, but part of the issue is that the flag is far from little. It seems that a part of the problem is down to internal communication as the size was made very clear before we even looked for quotes.

At the moment, it's planned to get all parties together at the stadium to look at the issues and see what can be done to address them.

I'm far from happy with how things have gone on to say the least, and I have, and will continue to make my feelings known, but we are where we are.

Hopefully we can get some constructive discussions going to remedy this, and lessons learned for the future.

The aim of the flag was to show support for the team and players. That's still very much the case, so it will be a shame if we let this tarnish it.

I'm starting to sound like an apologist for the club, but the ethos of that banner was that it was from the fans.

There was talk of more banners provided by fans. I put this to the club, and they were very supportive, to say the least, and offered to pay for some themselves.

I would hope that it's something that could be progressed.
 
If they weren't changing the pricing structure for next season, we could have a special flag for cat B games that says something like "£35?!? Are you having a laugh?"

It could have N6 all to itself.

I say we just go to the papers with the story along with all the other pure ****wittery the club gets up to. The way this premier league football club treats its supporters is nothing short of dire, it's bound to be a worthy story when you dig under the surface.

Except we should tell the papers Allam himself ordered the flag burned because anti name changers helped fund it just for a bit of fun <laugh>

There is a lot of hard work to do, if we want this to develop. DMD will sort this out, but it does take time.

Another issue is that bit by bit, every last space in the stadium is getting covered in advertising hoardings. Any empty seats will be covered by MKM logos long before considering a banner backing the team.

I hear ball boys and physios will be clad in Smith & Nephew sandwich boards at the next game.

At least it's not like pride park, that is just an enormous advertising board inside and out, looks tacky as.

I heard it was Neise,s Diner sandwich boards and pork Pie hats.

It's just a flag. They find a place for it, put it up when there's a game and take it down and store it somewhere safe when there isn't a game. it's not exactly rocket science. Can people not perform relatively simple tasks anymore?

In no way am I having a pop at Dutch here, but I most certainly AM having a pop at the club. I mean, really, how can it be so difficult?

Drape it over the empty seats. Why are they struggling so badly with this?
