I still have all the home programs from around the '71 to '73 seasons, when I used to get taken to the games. They're in a box in the garage.
bigsmithy i still have my soccer stars,a few world cup editions and 2 other collector albums i don't remember the name of. Also a ton of programmes and other books kept in a sealed box in my shed- the missus is not allowed to touch.
A question,Why do you keep them?,if they are in a sealed box, means you never look at them.i used to collect them,But i would need a warehouse by now,so i stopped and kept just a few special ones.
Oh goodness... there's a name I haven't heard for 30 years. Yes, had them too but doubt any are around now. If I remember they didn't last long as the spines were put together with rubber latex (the stuff that holds temporary pads together) so they fell apart before their time. They were certainly Esso too. Edit: just seen you can get them on Ebay. Looks like there was some kind of collectors folder - I guess if you kept them in there and not actually read them they didn't fall apart!
Why Tots, because occasionally I get the box out and go through the stuff to reminisce when the game was not about money but entertainment. BTW when I said sealed box its not actually sealed its a container thats air tight.
Little plastic wallets. There were 4 or 5 each holding a few booklets. I used to be ever so careful reading them. they were fact books and after each fact was written ''squelch''
60, 61 & 62 - Rotherham, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday... that's what living in South Yorkshire does for a person after 15 years and the last one's got to be Wrexham, surely
Why would you want to hide somebody who's asking questions? Unless you want to hide the questions they are asking, I suppose ?
