Terracing, not all seats.

Think Arsenal, Chelsea and Leeds all used to average around 15,000 in those days too. A lot of people put off by the racism, hooliganism etc, I guess, plus the Thatcher Factor.

I always find's physco's threads hilarious.

People will reply "You're a terrible WUM" then will get really wound up <laugh>

One of the best 'obvious' trolls I've seen.

Strange days.

I was at this match! The season was all but over , it was the old second division and we had finished i think 5th missing out on promotion. Thatcher had introduced "members" only and the ground was fenced in. It was also raining. Quite frankly we did well to get 9419!! Capacity was 34,000.

By the way....three weeks later we signed ...............Kevin Keegan!

Good post Trev, too many exclamation marks for my liking, but i like the effort.

If all else fails, blame Thatcher or the weather, then mention a messiah to cheer yourself up a bit at the end.

Welcome to the land of milk and honey where there is no rationing, not even on exclamation marks.
