Really? So you would rather have the worse pundits trotting out rubbish just because they have played in a mens world cup, rather than someone who because they are a woman who is not eligible to.
For me yes...all day long. A woman, no matter how much football she has played can simply have no idea on what is required in the physical nature of the very top level of mens football... When I was young, I played tennis at a club level, but I have simply no idea what it takes to play in grand slams. A woman giving her so called expert opinion to a predominately male audience about the intricacies of the male game is just meaningless and a distraction to what so far has been a decent tournament.
Each to their own mate. I turn them off when any of them come on if I can. The lads like to sit and listen though so I often have to laugh. I cant remember the last time Keane or Richards said anything useful or insightful. I would bet most on here could say something more worthwhile. That said, I did enjoy seeing Drogba on the last game. Still looked he could get a game. At least that panel was less predictable, although I did think the French woman was good
Aluko was commenting on the Poland game, she was on about lewandowski scoring his first World Cup goal, she said he was unlucky when he hit the post earlier with a great bit of skill, ffs he missed it with his right foot and deflected off his standing leg and hit the post, if that's skillful in the woman's game them have a long way to catch up with the men's game
Absolutely, I just don't have any belief that a woman can tell me anything I don't already know. None of them can have any experience of playing with, or managing, players of that level. So their 'knowledge' comes from watching them live, or on TV, which I can easily do myself. Even if a man isn't a great pundit he'll at least have experience of what it's like to play in a World Cup.
Not that I am sextet or a dirty old man or anything but I find i can watch a pretty face with a decent pair of knockers any time... compared to say She Ra
Personally, I find analysis done by many sports journalists to be far more inciteful than anything professional footballers say (men and women).
Poch and Klinsman raising the bar massively. If I want incite I will listen to a top end manager like Pochetino every day. Rio is decent as well to be fair and I could see him as a coach. More top class coaches and managers please.
Last seen invading the pitch during the Portugal Uruguay game at the Lusail Iconic Stadium, 20km North of doha... On the reverse of his t-shirt was Respect Iranian Women. God bless him.
What a absolute hypocrite ... ... 'protesting' about Qatar by going to the Wales v England match Give it a rest man, you're Sports Minister and have done nothing and said little until it suits you. Now you're making yourself out to be a 'Nelson Mandela' by hiding behind your position. Another weasel in a Superman cape. Using the Nick ' I'm only going to highlight dyslexia' Hancock excuse is as low as it gets .... yes of course you're only going to Qatar to wear your little armband, what a hero Sports minister Stuart Andrew to wear OneLove armband to England v Wales match in Qatar. Asked whether he would wear the armband and risk upsetting the World Cup host, Mr Andrew told the Evening Standard: "I absolutely will be doing so. "I'm not going to shy away from who I am. "Our message very much is that no one should have to hide who they are." Yeak OK pal, if you're not going to shy away let's see you wear it at the airport, on the street and going into the ground ... ... not sneaking in, like a Mag at a Sunderland match, with your colours hidden under your coat. https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2022/11/28/stuart-andrew-qatar-world-cup-onelove-armband/
Chinese state television has censored World Cup games to remove shots of maskless crowds after the sight of joyous fans celebrating in packed stadiums stoked anger back home, where hundreds of millions remain under strict pandemic restrictions. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...askless-crowd-footage-in-world-cup-broadcasts
I don't like China or the Chinese ... ... never have for which I've taken quite some flak. I don't think they're as wise as they're made out to be. It's a monkeys and typewriters situation as far as I'm concerned.
