Its brings more attention to ban it which is what I think they've realised. It's not about them succumbing to pressure in my opinion, more about them finding the easiest way to take a negative story out of the news.

Getting a bit fed up of turning the TV or raido during a world cup, getting preached at about politics then a bit football gets a mention.
