FIFA really are behaving scandalously with these last minute ultimatums. I hope Budweiser and Adidas, plus others, sue them into the abyss.
I firmly believe it's time for the major football nations to come together, split from FIFA and form a new governing body. If England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain & Brazil went first, the others would follow. Leave FIFA as an expensive, corrupt empty vessel and move forward with a new organisation. If the big countries went first, the others would follow.

Great idea, need to petition the bbc or some other body which won't be asking what's in it for me..

My understanding is there is the pride flag armband. This is what I have given to my soccer school kids as a means to generate some conversation in families, should parents want to of course. These are very much in direct support of LGBTQ, as are the rainbow laces etc.

The OneLove armband is a more general anti-discriminatory statement, as I understand it. There is a rainbow inside the heart, although not the exact pride one. My understanding this is because FIFA / uefa have previously blocked the use of the pride rainbow in European games (I might be wrong but I think Bayern Munich were blocked from doing something). So not the exact LGBTQ colours, but a pretty clear symbol of support in my opinion.

What age are the kids mate and are parents consulted before they're given these? I'm just a bit uncomfortable with the idea of kids going to play a game and having other people's political/idealogical beliefs pushed onto them. Shouldn't something like this be discussed with parents beforehand?

Here here, totally against ideology and politics being forced onto school kids before they are old enough to make a conscious decision on their beliefs. We've practically taken the word of God out of our schools so as not to offend, but deem morally acceptable to push the gay rights agenda.

Gave them to parents for them to decide.

Being gay isn’t political
