It would have been a bigger statement to stay at home. Shearer is the same if not worse, happy to slag off the Qataris but doesn’t have an issue with the Saudis at the mags. All of them are hypocrites.

She's going to take so much stick on social media from angry men who talk repeatedly about others being "offended".

I love her.
Yesterday, when the panel were talking about the human rights issues, she and Lineker were not referring to any notes. The other two seemed to be constantly looking down to see what to say. I think she was very articulate, including on why she has attended. Brilliant to see her wearing the armband too. She is using the platform she has.

Weirdly enough I don’t walk around taking pictures on pubs every time I walk in one. I mean, it’s hardly unlikely that a pub would be decorated with England flags when the World Cup starts today is it <laugh>
Exactly mate, where I live in the Lakes the pubs are decked out top to bottom, it’s brilliant. I wish you were my bestest mate.

She was a breath of fresh air when she started, but now she's as poor as the rest of them in terms of her punditry.

This is where football let's itself down. The bloke has a head injury yet they are letting him "run it off". Ridiculous

I bet that Iranian sports journo that said he thinks USA and Wales will be a bigger test in the video package before the game will he expecting double figures when Iran play them by his logic.
